Sundays on Silverado #34

Life Lately

Who loves beadboard? πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Me! Me! Me!

We worked on a little DIY project this week that I can’t wait to tell you all about in an upcoming post. Here’s a little sneak peek…

We went downtown to a little coffee shop for a pastry and a cup of coffee one morning. While they were brewing my coffee, I had the best time looking all around. The entire shop is decorated in antiques! Right now, they are only open for “to-go” orders, but when they open fully, I can’t wait to go back and enjoy my coffee inside and take in the decor even more.

The weather is slowly turning nicer. The horses are back in the pasture, and we have hit & miss days where it’s warm enough to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the view.

We brought home 18 bags of organic soil to top off the garden. I’m so ready to dig in and get my plants going! How about you?

We’ve been doing some long-range planning. After so many cancelled trips in the last 2 years, and staying so close to home this past year, the travel bug is biting me hard. Can you relate? We didn’t go anywhere for Spring Break (other than our short weekend getaway to antique shop), because we didn’t feel like the time was quite right yet, but we’ve been scheming and planning and dreaming, and we now have 4 trips solidly on the books for the future, when things have settled more, and 2 more trips in the works. Making up for lost time…. πŸ˜‚ 🀣

In Case You Missed It…

I made some Chocolate Chip Espresso Scones. If you like coffee and chocolate, these are for you. β˜•οΈ 🍫

I participated in another fun Pinterest Challenge, and made this cute little birdhouse as part of my centerpiece.

I was part of a Spring Home Tour with several other bloggers, and we shared glimpses of our homes decorated for spring and Easter. 🐰 🌷πŸ₯🌿

The Weekly Features!

You guys, I’m over-the-moon excited to be able to host a “normal-ish” Easter dinner at our home this year with family. Almost all of us in our family bubble have now qualifed for, and been vaccinated, making me feel safe in gathering 10 of us around the table again. I can’t tell you how much I’ve missed this. As a result, I am loving all the beautiful tablescapes y’all linked up this week as I work on creating a plan for my own table setting.
