Apple Cider Sangria
Fresh crisp apples, mixed with cider, amaretto, and ginger ale for a fall-inspired sangria.
- 1 medium apple cored and thinly sliced
- 2 orange wedges leave peel on
- 8 ounces apple cider
- 2 ounces amaretto
- 1 ounce apple pie flavored spirits
- 6 ounces ginger ale
- 2 cinnamon sticks for garnish
Core your apple and thinly slice. Place the apple slices into two pint mason jars, along with one orange wedge in each.
Add 1 ounce of amaretto to each jar, along with ½ to 1 ounce of the apple pie flavored alcohol of your choice. You can adjust the amount, depending on how strong you like your sangria 😛.
Put the lids on the mason jars, and place in the fridge for a couple of hours to allow the fruit to flavor the alcohol even more.
After a couple of hours, remove the jars from the fridge. Fill the mason jars about halfway with your favorite apple cider, and the rest of the way with ginger ale.
Garnish with cinnamon sticks and extra apple wedges.
