Your family & friends will love these easy Dutch Letter Bars that take only a few simple ingredients to make!

This easy dessert bar is perfect for the big game this weekend or for a Valentine's Day treat!

Add colored sprinkles to represent your favorite team for the Super Bowl, or use red and pink sugar for Valentine's Day! 💕🏈

Add almond paste to your grocery list.  The rest of the ingredients are probably already in your fridge and pantry!

Almond paste can be found in the baking aisle of your grocery store. I like to keep a box on hand, so I can make these bars whenever I need something to take to a potluck or party. They are a crowd-pleaser!

They are so easy to make!  Just add all of the ingredients to the bowl of your mixer, and combine until well-blended!   Anyone can make these!

Spread the thick mixture in a greased 8x12 baking pan.  You can also use a 9x13 pan, but I prefer the bars a little thicker.

Use an offset spatula to spread it evenly around in your pan. If you don't have an offset spatula, you can press it down with your fingers.

Sprinkle the top generously with sugar. Don’t skip this step, because it gives the top a nice crispy texture. You can use white sugar, or festive colors for a holiday or your favorite team.

Bake in a 350-degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.

Cool completely before cutting into bars. The top will be crisp and flakey, and the center will be dense and chewy. Oh my word.

These 5 simple ingredients combine into pure magic.  When you show up to the Super Bowl party with these in tow, you will be the MVP.
