Valentine’s Day Tiered Tray

This weekend, I turned my Winter Tiered Tray into a Valentine’s Day Tiered Tray. I got my tiered tray about a year ago, and decorated it for the first time for St. Patty’s Day. This is now the end of my year-long cycle of decorating it for every season and holiday. ๐Ÿ˜‚

My Valentine’s Day Tiered Tray came together very quickly, because I reused some of the same elements from my Winter Tiered Tray. You can see the mini books covered in brown paper reappearing here, just with a little sprig of pink flowers tucked in the twine this time.

I’ve also reused the litttle galvanized tin houses, the candle, and the white cupcake stand.

Dollar Tree Pink Foam Hearts

I bought a little package of red and pink sparkly foam hearts at the Dollar Tree. For this project, I only used the pink hearts. Adding them to several of my tiered tray elements transformed this whole tray easily and inexpensively.

I first added them to my mini potted white tulips that I got at Michael’s.

I cut the twisty top off of two cocktail spears, and then just sandwiched the end of each spear between two hearts and hot glued them together. Then I was able to stick it right down into the foam part of the faux plant.

This gave the plants a Valentine vibe, but it can be easily removed to reuse these flowers again for another tray.

I also reused my tin houses from the Target Dollar Spot. I updated them for Valentine’s Day by simply taping a little foam heart onto each one. Instant Valentine’s Day look that is temporary.

More Dollar Tree Items

I picked up a white berry garland and mini grapevine hearts at the Dollar Tree.

These inexpensive items add texture and natural elements to the tiered tray.

Finishing Touches

I always love adding in a Willow Tree Angel from my collection, and this one holding the heart is perfect for Valentine’s Day.

The mini cupcake stands are from Hobby Lobby. You can usually pick them up for only a couple of bucks and they work nicely for adding varying heights to the tray. I have them in several colors, but here I used a pink and a white one.

The tiny “hello love” sign is from Hobby Lobby for barely more than $1 when the Valentine’s stuff was 40% off.

Finally, I added my antique bullseye moulding that I picked up at a flea maket.
