Old St. Nick
Another Christmas tree is up at The House on Silverado! While my primary bedroom tree from Christmas in July was elegant with silver and gold metallic tones, this tree is bold, and beautiful, and all about Santa Claus!
“I’m partnering with King of Christmas for this post, but all ideas and opinions are my own.”
When my newest King of Christmas tree arrived, I knew I had made the right choice.
For the past couple of years, I’ve had a smaller version of this same tree in my lower-level family room. While I loved everything about it, it didn’t quite touch the ceiling. And everybody knows that the best Christmas trees go alllll the way to the ceiling, right?
So this year, I ordered the same exact tree, just another foot and a half taller!

Oh, it made all the difference. Stunning. She’s fabulous, I tell ya….
There’s just something about a flocked tree that makes all my Christmas dreams come true. The way the 700 warm white LED lights reflect against the heavy flocking makes this tree simply radiant. It reminds me of moonlight on fresh snow.
It gets even better. With the included remote, you can adjust your tree to the perfect setting– steady on, blinking, chasing, fading, and several more!

Ribbons & Bows
This luxurious red velvet ribbon from King of Christmas tied in perfectly with my Santa Claus theme; it looks and feels just like Santa’s suit!
I didn’t have quite enough red ribbon to do the whole tree, so I alternated with some Santa ribbon I already had on hand.

I used this set of red and green shatterproof ornaments combined with a mixture of Santa ornaments I’ve collected over the years.

A vintage Santa and a copy of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” rounded out the look.

The result is a tree even Santa would be proud of.

“Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and… PENNY?

Penny Puppy looks like she’s wondering if she’s on the naughty or nice list.

Simple & Beautiful
This is my fifth King of Christmas tree over the years, in addition to many of their wreaths, garlands, ribbons, and ornaments. I keep coming back because of the quality and the beauty.
The pre-lit trees in particular are so gorgeous on their own that it only takes a few ornaments and ribbons to create a stunning Christmas display.
Simple and beautiful at the same time? Sign me up.
I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight—
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
Happy decorating, friends…

It’s beautiful! I love that it has so many lights!
Thank you so much, Susan! I love the changing features of the lights, too.
