Sundays on Silverado #93

Life Lately

After a little setback and a couple of rough days, I’m feeling a better, at just over 2 weeks post-op. The doctor says 6 weeks is the full recovery time, during which my activities should still be very limited. I’ll start physical therapy at the 6-week mark, and I have high hopes that will make a big difference. 🤞🏻

This is such a hard time of year to be “down and out” because one of my very favorite things to do is plant my flowers and garden.

I’m so lucky to have such a sweet and hard-working husband though, who patiently followed my instructions and planted all my flowers for me as I watched. I’m hoping in a week or two I’ll at least be able to water and tend to them.

In Case You Missed It…

I have a couple of different glass cloches and a terrarium, and I love using them to create simple seasonal decor for my home. Check out THIS POST to see all the details.

  1. Niky, I am glad that you are recovering well and your husband is taking great care of you. I have no problem resting and relaxing until I am forced to rest and relax then it becomes like torture! Hang in there!

  2. Thank you so much for hosting each week. I hope you can get back into those flower beds soon. Praying for a full and easy recovery!

  3. I’d have a hard time being down and out this time of year too. Thank goodness for helpful and supportive husbands! Thank you so much for featuring my teapot wind chimes and wishing you a lovely Sunday. xo

  4. Thank you so much for featuring my Recipe Cabinet Redo, Niky. I’m sorry to hear you had a setback….it’s so hard, but recovery takes time. Try to sit back and enjoy all the beautiful flowers your husband planted!
