Baby Evelynn Update
Our tiny warrior girl turned FOUR MONTHS OLD this week! Just look at this precious miracle…

Doesn’t she look so proud of herself?
She had a big week. She went back to the University of Iowa for a full day of tests.

According to her mama, the poor sweetie cried so hard while they were placing all the sensors on her head that as soon as they were done, she passed out right to sleep. ☹️
But, when she woke up, look at that smile! That picture, y’all. I can’t even. It melts me right into a puddle thinking of what a sweet and precious spirit she has, for somebody who’s already been through so much.
And, the best part! The EEG showed no signs of seizure activity. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you.
In other good news, she did better on her swallow study, and no longer has to have thickener added to her milk to prevent aspiration. Hooray! But, she does need to work on eating more. She’s still small for her age, and not currently getting enough ounces in per day to stay properly hydrated.
So, if you’d like to pray for something specific, please pray with me that she will continue to eat the amount the doctors want her to each day, that the dangerous seizures stay away, and that her therapies will continue to help her grow stronger each day.
I appreciate all of you who have been joining me in prayer for sweet Evie girl. She’s already a miracle beyond measure.
“Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” Luke 8:50
