Sundays on Silverado #79

Life Lately

Spring Fever

Anyone else super excited that the seed catalogs are starting to be delivered?!

One afternoon this week it was sunny and warm enough to sit outside in the 3-season porch and browse through my Seeds ‘n’ Such.

It certainly gave me some Spring Fever. I’m so ready for gardening season. Anyone else? 🍅

I can practically hear my deer-proof, raised-bed garden calling my name…

Baby Evenlynn

When I visited baby Evie this week, I took her Valentine’s gift a little early, because it included three adorable books that I wanted her to have time to enjoy. Here they are if you need a sweet Valentine’s Day gift for the littles in your life:

Evelynn’s gift also included these tiny Ugg slippers. I mean, is there anything cuter than baby toes? (No. The answer is no.😜)

If there’s a baby or toddler in your life who needs some tiny Uggs, HERE is the link.

Oh, and they also come in this adorable leopard print. Oh, my heart.

Evie is becoming quite the football fan. She was all ready to watch the Chief’s game on Sunday.

This is what she had to say about how the second half of the game went… 😮

She’s such sweet baby that she moved past the loss pretty fast though….

We are pretty in love with this baby, in case you couldn’t tell…. 🥰

“And the child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon him.” Luke 2:40

In Case You Missed It…

This week I shared my Amazon finds on the February edition of Prime Purchases.

Also, I went to work turning several old and outdated frames into pretty “new” ones to hold all of Evelynn’s beautiful photos from her newborn photo shoot.

If you have old frames that need an update, you’ll find lots of fun ideas in this post: How to Paint Picture Frames.

The Weekly Features!

This week’s link-ups were filled with beautiful ideas for Valentine’s Day (which, by the way, is only 8 days away!).

My husband and I typically stay home for Valentine’s Day. I set a pretty table, we cook a meal together, sip wine… it’s so much more peaceful and romantic than a crowded restaurant, in my opinion.

I’ve been brainstorming for our menu and table decor for this year, so I was particularly interested in the lovely table settings shared this week.

  • Renae, at Peacock Ridge Farm, shared this stunning table for two that looks so regal!
  • I love milk glass, so Rachel’s Valentine’s Day milk glass centerpiece really caught my eye. I have that same vase that may make an appearance on my table this year…
  • The lovely pink florals in Rachelle’s sweet, rustic table setting are absolutely beautiful! Pink is my favorite color, so this one speaks right to my heart.
  • Linda, at Bushel & Pickle, sets such a pretty Valentine table for two.
  • CoCo from The Crowned Goat never fails to impress me. Her tablescape, complete with a Valentine’s dessert buffet is brilliant! The whole family will enjoy this one.

All features have been pinned to the Sundays on Silverado Pinterest Board! I invite you to follow this Pinterest board so you won’t miss out on all of the amazing ideas.

More Valentine Table Ideas:

It was another amazing party this week, which even broke last week’s record number of link-ups!

I’m so happy to have so many people joining us to share their creativity. I love sitting down with my cup of Sunday morning coffee to browse all the incredible inspiration.

I can’t wait to see what you have this week, friends!

  4. So happy Evie is doing well and getting big! We do the same on Valentine’s Day – we like to say Valentine’s Day is for amateurs!

  5. omgosh! Baby Evie gets more & more adorable. Those Uggs are too cute! I wouldn’t’t be able to resist them either. Totally itching for spring too. I need to start some garden planning pronto. Have a great week. XO- MaryJo

  6. I can’t even get any work done for looking at my seed catalogs. So happy that your baby Evelynn is doing so well, she is a doll! Thanks so much for the party and have a nice week.

  7. I am so ready for spring planting as well. I love having my fingers in the dirt. Thank you so much for the feature. I sure appreciate you. Your Evie sure looks great. God is so good. Hugs and blessings to you.

  8. I wish I could say I had spring fever but here in the Canadian prairies, January – March are the coldest months of winter. Seeds don’t even come out of the packets until the last threat of frost in late May.

  9. It’s fun looking forward to spring through the seed catalogues. I’ve ordered my seeds, and now need to start pruning roses and fruit trees. Thank you for the feature!
