Sundays on Silverado #75

Life Lately

This happened this week. ❤️

Our little Evelynn Irene is a true miracle.

Doctors predicted she wouldn’t leave the NICU for somewhere between 4-10 months, and here is she is, showing everyone what a little fighter she is.

Making this day even more special, she came home on the 4th anniversary of my mom’s passing. My daughter said it best when she sent this text to all of the grandparents: “As of today, Evelynn Irene will be a NICU graduate! And on the same day 4 years ago, her great-grandma Irene became her angel ❤️.”

We have so much to be thankful for. 💕

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. ~Psalm 9:1-2

(You can read Evelynn’s whole story HERE.)

Happy Birthday to my Husband

In other news, today is my sweet hubby’s birthday!

I won the lottery when I married this guy. He’s one of the good ones.

Happy Birthday, babe. So lucky to be doing life with you. XOXO

In Case You Missed It…

I shared the first monthly Prime Purchases post for the new year, which included some of our favorite Christmas gifts, plus items purchased for our new grandbaby, Evie. You can see all of my Prime finds HERE.

Now that the holidays are over, I can tell so many of you are getting back to projects to update and refresh your homes.

I have a whole list of furniture projects I’m hoping to get to over the next few months.

Of course, everything has been put on hold because of our girl Evelynn, but in the meantime, I’m enjoying reading all about your creative furniture projects and tutorials.

The four furniture projects featured today are beautiful! I’m taking notes!

Clockwise from the top left corner:

Here are some of my favorite furniture projects from The House on Silverado:

And of course, my very favorite makeover of all– this pink antique bookcase for our sweet Evie’s nursery.
