Happy New Year, friends. I’m struggling to get my mind caught up to the fact that it’s 2022 now.
We’ve existed in a vacuum of sorts for the past several weeks because of the situation with our sweet grandbaby Evelynn. We spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas at the hospital, so it just doesn’t seem like it can be January already!
But, prayers are being answered, friends. Miracles are real.
I got to meet my sweet grandbaby for the first time on Christmas Eve, which was also her 1-month birthday.
I soaked up every ounce of grandma snuggles I could get, as I likely won’t get to see her again until she comes home.
Yes, the doctors have started using the word “home”, which is yet another miracle.
She’s already such a little miracle, and so, so loved.
Please continue to pray for her– so many prayers have been answered already!
(You can read Evelynn’s whole story HERE.)
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” ~ Matthew 7:7
We still managed to sneak in a small Christmas celebration with the rest of the family.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.~ Psalms 118:1
In Case You Missed It…
I wrapped up the year with my most popular posts for 2021.
It was a great year for The House on Silverado. This new year may get off to a slower start than I had hoped, as many of my planned projects have been put on pause temporarily, but I still have high hopes for 2022. 🎉
