Sundays on Silverado #71

Life Lately

Life Lately is still all about support for sweet baby Evie and my daughter and son-in-law. The kids continue to live in a hotel an hour and a half from home, and likely will for quite some time.

Right now, I’m trying to work, and go there on the weekends, to support them in whatever small ways I can.

Thank you so much to all of you who have been praying so relentlessly, sending sweet messages, and offering help. There’s a long road ahead, and the kids need a village. Your compassion has touched my heart.

Please, please continue to pray for this sweet little fighter, and her mom and dad. 🙏🏻

Update: Extra prayers are requested, as our grandbaby Evie heads to surgery on Friday afternoon. Please pray for the doctors and nurses who will care for her, for healing and comfort for our baby girl, and for strength and courage for her mom and dad.

In Case You Missed It…

My husband got me the beautiful Willow Tree Nativity set for my birthday this week, and I used scrap wood to make a DIY stable for it. You can see how HERE.

The nativity, and the opportunity to distract myself by making the stable were a welcome respite for my heart this week.

I also shared the annual Best of Prime post. All of the details can be read HERE.
