Life Lately
Life doesn’t always go as planned, and “Life Lately” has put us on a journey we didn’t see coming.
I had this post pre-scheduled to auto-post during what I anticipated to be a busy holiday weekend filled with a big family Thanksgiving dinner, and lots of decorating and shopping.
That’s not how it turned out at all.
I’m back quickly today to adjust my post and ask for your prayers.
It’s not my place to share the details just yet, but I know that many of you are prayer warriors, and I believe prayer works.
So on this weekend that transitions from Thanksgiving to the season of advent, please pray for my family if you are so moved. 💕
Gingerbread Hop
You may have noticed that Sundays on Silverado came a day early this week. That’s because tomorrow I’m participating in a fun gingerbread hop with some of my talented blogger friends.
I hope you’ll come back tomorrow to see some delicious gingerbread recipes, and also several gingerbread crafts.
‘Tis the season!
Here’s a little sneak peek…

You can get the recipe for this beauty tomorrow morning!
In Case You Missed It…
I shared the easy DIY Copper Table Setting that I used for my Thanksgiving table this year. It would also make a beautiful Christmas tablescape, or even a New Year’s Eve table with the pretty metallic sheen.
This month’s Pinterest Challenge was all about garlands, so I created a Woodland Christmas Garland with these sweet little owls. It’s so fun and fits in with the winter woodland neutrals I’m using to decorate with this year.
Gift Guides!
I also shared my annual compilation of gift guides to help you with your holiday shopping. This round-up includes my favorite items of the year, as well as gift and stocking stuffer ideas for so many of the people on your list!
