Double posts on the blog today!
After you’re done enjoying Sundays on Silverado, be sure to hop on over to the monthly DIY Blop Hop as well.
For this month’s theme of “Before & After”, I shared this $3 thrift store basket that I painted, and then used to create a DIY Front Door Basket for fall.

There are more, fun before/afters linked up to the DIY Blog Hop as well! Lots of great fall inspiration on this beautiful Sunday.
Life Lately
The mister and I spent 13 hours on Saturday driving around Iowa for the Fall Junk Jaunt.
Not only did we come home with some great vintage finds, but even better, we got to visit several central Iowa farms in all their fall glory.
We drank coffee, drove down dirt roads, watched the beginnings of the fall harvest in the fields, poked around in dusty old barns, shopped at roadside markets, and strolled down main streets in sleepy little Iowa towns. It was glorious.
In Case You Missed It…
This month’s Pinterest Challenge was all about Fall Bedrooms. If you need some fall decor inspiration, check out THIS post…

I partnered with Basic Invites this month for a sponsored post about their wide selection of invitations, cards, and stationery.
Since I’m busy planning a baby shower, I had fun browsing all of their many options. With Christmas card season not far away, you might want to check out the wonderful personalized options they offer. Plus, there is a coupon code included in my post for 15% off!

My DIY Thrift Store Farmhouse Sign was featured on Hometalk this week.
I upcycled this thrift store sign into a flower market sign for spring, but with fall upon us and Christmas not far behind, be on the lookout for some thrift store signs you can turn into “Pumpkin Patch” or “Tree Farm” signs. So many possibilities!
