Sundays on Silverado #46

I hope you’re having a wonderful Father’s Day celebrating with all the amazing dads in your life. It’s not too late to whip up a special breakfast for Dad! Last year, I created this Made-to-Order Omelete Bar. This year, our Father’s Day celebration will be spread out over a few different days. Lucky hubs will get more than one celebration. đź’•

Life Lately

I love June in the yard and garden. Everything is in its finest form. Being outside working in my garden and flower beds is one of my favorite ways to unwind.

These three large hostas, the rhubarb and the hens & chicks were all transplanted from my mom & dad’s house before we settled their estate and sold the house. It makes me happy to get to enjoy them still, see then all thriving here.

In Case You Missed It…

I gave a makeover to a beautiful end table that used to be my parents’, and I shared a tired tray design for July 4th this week.

  3. Thanks for the party Niky. I love that your stretching out Father’s Day- lucky guy. 🙂. I also love, love, love the idea that you transplanted plants from your parents garden. That just warms my heart. Have a great week. XO- MaryJo

  4. I love your screened-in garden area! I could really use something similar in mine to keep the deer away from my vegetables

  5. Your garden is so pretty Nicky – looks like you’ve spent a lot of time out there! Great deer fence too! 🙂

  7. What a lovely way to remember your parents by transplanting the shrubs into your yard. My dad loved his garden, and it would have been nice to replant something he loved into my own yard, but it would have been difficult living 3 states away.
Thanks for the party and happy Sunday
    RR
