Sundays on Silverado #32

Life Lately

We had several days of nice weather this past week and it felt so good to get outside. I was able to do some yard work and check on all my plant babies. The tulips are peeking up, the hydrangeas have some tiny buds, and the Hens & Chicks that we dug up from my mom’s yard and transplanted here made it through the winter and are looking amazing.

We cooked dinner on the grill after being outside all day. We uncovered all the outdoor patio furniture and and enjoyed some time in the sunshine. And even when it started to cool down later in the day, we were still able to enjoy Happy Hour and then dinner outside in the screened porch. Ahhhh, I’ve missed this…..

In Case You Missed It…

A Simple Easter Centerpiece

This week I made a Simple Easter Centerpiece by making a few easy adjustments to my Spring Centerpiece with vintage seed packets. It was a quick way to create some Easter decor without a lot of effort or energy during an extra busy week.

Leftover Pulled Pork Nachos

We smoked two whole pork butts to take when we visited my daughter and her husband last week for their birthdays. Even after leaving some with them, and delivering some to my son and his girlfirend, we still had a good amount left to freeze and use in delish appetizers like this one. You guys, it’s worth smoking meat just to make these nachos. And now that the weather is nicer and Happy Hour at Home weather is upon us, you’re going to want this recipe in your repertoire.

The Weekly Features!

Last week, I was thinking spring and this week my mind has definitely started to turn toward Easter when I realized it comes early this year an it’s barely more than 3 weeks away. I am loving all of the gorgeous Easter decor that you guys linked up, but the nature-y egg crafts and decor really caught my eye…
