Sundays on Silverado #317

Evie selfie

Life Lately

First, let me apologize for SoS going up late this week. As you recall, last week we had the news about my husband’s knee surgery, then Penny Puppy at the ER vet, followed by “wedding week” for our youngest son, followed immediately by me spending 6 days at the grandbabies’ home.

It literally wasn’t until this morning, while still out of town, that I realized it was Sunday; I hadn’t written this post, and I didn’t even bring my laptop with me. Epic fail.

We headed for home after church and lunch out with the kids, and here I am now, trying to catch up.

Since I need to get this post published asap, I will catch you up next week on the details of the beautiful wedding of Kyle and Hanna.

Until then, I will leave you with this fun series of pics.

Yesterday, Evie brought me my phone that I had left in another room. With a giggle and a sly smile, she handed it to me and headed off again.

It wasn’t until the next day that I found this adorable sequence of selfies (partial selfies, at least) in my photos. 🤣

She has the cutest sense of humor. 🩷

I’m off to catch up on a massive pile of laundry, find something to eat, and relax for a bit before bed. I’m exhausted but still smiling from a wonderful week. Mostly anyway — there’s still the saga of the bad knees to deal with. More later….
