Life Lately

Penny Puppy turned two years old this past week! I felt like a terrible dog mom because I forgot until three days later. I know.

I had it in my brain that it was coming up in a few days, and then… that thought disappeared until after the fact. We had just gotten back from vacation, the grandbabies came to stay, and then a day later we had out-of-town house guests for the weekend.

After everyone was gone and we were getting things back in order, it suddenly hit me!

No worries, though. Penny still got gifts. And a pool party.

And lots of love.

I think she forgives me. 🥰

In Case You Missed It…

We had friends staying with us from out of town over the weekend. (Hi Ron & Michelle 👋🏻!)

It was fun to catch up on stories, families, and fun. I made Creamy Tuscan Chicken with Cherry Tomatoes and Lemon Pie for dessert. They asked for the recipe, so I sent them home with a bag of cherry tomatoes from my garden, too. They sent a picture a few days later, and they’d already made it themselves after they got home!
