Life Lately
It was Evie and Hayden’s turn to go to the zoo this past weekend. Unfortunately, poor little Hayden wasn’t feeling well, so I don’t have many pics.

It was hot, and Hayden had a tummy ache, so we cut our visit a bit shorter than planned. No worries, though, Gigi & Pops bought the season pass, so we will have a “do-over” next time they visit.
We came home, where Hayden rested in the air conditioning for a while. Before long, he was feeling much better, as you can see in the following pictures.

We got this inflatable waterslide at Costco, and the kids had so much fun! It wasn’t quite as much fun to roll up and put away after they went home, but it was still worth it to see them enjoying it. ❤️
In Case You Missed It…
It’s starting to heat up outside. Here are a couple of my favorite refreshing summer drinks.

Thanks so much for the party, Niky! We always appreciate the opportunity to share! Wishing you a wonderful week of summer fun ahead!
Thank you for featuring my Patriotic Berry Vanilla Biscotti! Your grandkids would like my Beary Blueberry Muffin Cake Balls (even if you just “steal” the teddy graham and peach gummy float decor idea for the top & do that on cupcakes for them!). LOVE the bounce house!! I would definitely do that if I still had kids around that age (only littles I have are great-grandkids {age “almost 3” and 10} but they’re in Northern CA and we’re near Dallas), but knowing my grands who are in or just graduated college, they’d love it too!
The slide looks so fun…I want to play too! Thanks so much for the feature. I always appreciate your link party. Have a great week!
Poor Hayden. It sounds like the heat got to him, but that waterslide sure looks like a great way to beat the heat!
Thank you for featuring my flag decor upcycle, Niky. Have a great week!
Wow! That’s quite the inflatable. What generous grandparents you are. Thanks for the party!
