Life Lately
We gave all the grands a trip to the zoo as one of their Christmas gifts, and this weekend was baby Claire’s turn.
It was her first time at the zoo, and she was so chatty, talking to each and every animal. “Hi, Seal!” Hi Giraffe!”, “Wake up, Monkey!”
Despite a bit of rain in the morning, it turned out to be a great day. I’m sure there will be many more in the future.
They brought their dog, Teddy, with them. In addition to all the zoo animals, we had a wild time with “Double Doodles” in the house for the weekend, too. 🤣
Next weekend is zoo trip #2 with Evie and Hayden!
The summer is slated to be a busy one, but I am still on a mission to go through every cupboard, drawer, and closet in this house and purge, purge, purge.
This week, I tackled our primary closet. I was ruthless in getting rid of things. If I hadn’t worn it in the past several months, it went into the donate pile!
I ended up with 4 large bags of clothing to take to the thrift store. In addition to eliminating things, I organized things better with the help of a few items from Amazon.
