Sundays on Silverado #301

Life Lately

Mother’s Day Dinner

Matthew and Adri invited me over last Sunday for Mother’s Day and made me the most amazing dinner.

Not only was it a delicious meal (Adri is an excellent cook!), but it was so fun to see them enjoying entertaining in their beautiful new home.

They sent me home with a bouquet of beautiful pink tulips and a dozen fresh eggs from their chickens!

Unfortunately, I realized when I got home that I failed to take any pictures other than the food. I was enjoying myself so much, I guess it just slipped my mind. :-(

Dance Recital Pics

Evie’s dance recital is super late this year– not until mid-June for some reason. But she did get her pictures back already.

She’s beautiful, obviously, but when I saw this picture, my heart ached just a tiny bit because she looks so grown up.

It seems like just yesterday she was heading to her very first dance class, looking like such a baby.

I love watching her grow and learn, but it goes by so fast.

In Case You Missed It…

This time of year always makes me antsy to get outside and work on some projects. I’ve got a couple of things in mind that I hope to get to soon, but in the meantime, here are a couple of my favorite furniture makeovers.

  1. She does look grown up! I thought the same thing when I saw the picture. She’s beautiful. We have to remind ourselves to to live for each moment because we all know it happens in the blink of an eye. Thanks for the party and happy Sunday! XO- MaryJo

  2. Thank you for the party. Yes, I know exactly what you mean when you say your heart hurts a little to see your grandchildren grow up so fast. I feel the same way.
