Welcome to Sundays on Silverado #30!
Life Lately
A Fun Evening
On Saturday night, we had dinner at my mother-in-law’s house. We’ve developed a routine these past few months of picking up dinner some place, and taking it to her house to eat with her. It gives us all a good chance to have a relaxed visit, to help out with any little tasks she needs done around the house, and to just visit with her for awhile, when none of us are getting out as much as we used to pre-pandemic. We usually bring the wine, she makes the dessert, and we have all the components of a pretty nice evening.
Spring is Coming…
I’m definitely craving SPRING, can you tell? It’s reflected in all my posts this week!

The Weekly Features!
Okay, now for the incredible stuff you guys shared….

Thrifting with the Gals | Dabbling and Decorating
I love poking around in antique shops, thrift stores and flea markets, so this new series from Ann, Krisitin, Kim, Rachel, and Stacy is right up my alley! Check out all their great finds! Plus, you can read all about some of my favorite antique finds and places to shop HERE.

Pretty Seasonal Decorating | Lora B.
I have collected some vintage books myself during some of our antique shopping excursions. I love decorating with them, so when I saw Lora’s post utilizing this beautiful old book, I was smitten. I love how she can change the look just by turning the page!

Not Quite Spring Mantel | Common Ground
Something that has been on my “list” of things to find is an antique mirror similar to this one over Deba’s mantel. I haven’t found “the one” yet, but that’s part of the thrill of the hunt!

Okay friends, it’s time to link up again!

So many fun Spring links to dive into this week, Niky! I love all the features you chose. Thanks so much for hosting. I hope your week is a special one, CoCo
Love that china, so very nice. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Thanks, Patrick! You too. 🙂 Have managed to get a vaccine yet?
That is a beautiful set of china, Niky! We have my husband’s grandmother’s china as well as my mother’s and both have been packed in boxes in the basement for years. I think when we do our dining room makeover this spring, I should consider getting them out. Thanks for the inspiration!

Definitely get them out! I’m a big believer in actually using all my antiques and keepsakes. There is something special about dining on dishes with a history. We are using the ones my mother-in-law gave me, which were her mothers, for our Easter dinner this year!
Thanks for hosting, I appreciate the opportunity to share a few links!
Have a great week!
I’m glad you’re here, Karren! Thanks for joining in!
Such beautiful china dishes! I’m sure your mother-in-law appreciates your spending this quality time with her.
Thanks for the party Niky. I love how you’ve made a Saturday tradition w/ your MIL. It’s so great for family health and happiness. Those dishes are beautiful! 🤩. Congrats. Can’t wait to see them on tablescapes. Have a great week. XO- MaryJo

I absolutely love the Saturday night tradition you’ve started with your family, so special. My husband’s grandmother gifted me her china. It’s been way too long since I’ve been thrifting, you’re motivating me to get back to it. Thanks for sharing!
