Life Lately
The weather has not been awesome here this week, so we’ve been stuck in the house mostly. Next week is looking better, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some outside time and maybe even another bike ride.
I managed to get a little project done, in addition to continuing to check rooms off the spring cleaning list.
I’m always on the lookout for interesting frames, because you can never have too many frames when you have adorable grandbabies, right?
I found this cute little photo frame at a thrift store, but didn’t like the gray finish.
At first, I painted it white, but thought it looked too much like a snowflake. 😜 Next, I got out the gold finish wax and brushed that over the top of the white.
The little bit of golden sheen was perfect.

You always make things look so simple, Niky! I, too, am always on the hunt for special frames – they add so much to any room as do the photos they hold! However, my brain doesn’t work like yours by thinking of ways to make something come to life once again! I sure wish it did! Maybe someday??? We’re sharing #14 and #78 this week.
