Life Lately
The after-Christmas crash hit hard, but thankfully, we’ve had a few quiet and relaxing days at home to recharge.

I’m preparing to start tearing down Christmas decor soon, but first decided to drag out alllllll of the holiday totes and purge, combine, donate, pass off to kids, etc. I’ve been in the mood lately to downsize and simplify. Anyone else?
This is the current state of things…

It’s a job that’s been put off way too long after accumulating things when my parents passed, and then after Mark’s mom died in February. I’m committed to seeing this through until our storage room is vastly improved. Wish me luck!

I was thinking about this very thing as I put away Christmas stuff this year. I have a lot because I love Christmas, but it occurred to me: how much of this do I LOVE? What can I do without? Thank you for hosting this fun linkup! I’ve shared 3 links of my own and am off now to see what others have shared and leave some comment love. Wishing you a lovely week.
Jennifer, I agree! I’m trying to only keep the stuff I love and that I have used the past few Christmases. It feels good to organize and actually see what I have!
Thanks for joining in!
I, too, feel the constant need to downsize and purge and I’m planning to spend time this winter doing just that! I know it will be well worth it! Wishing you (and me) good luck in tackling it all!
Laura, winter is the time to do it, right? When I can’t enjoy being outside or gardening, this is the best time to get stuff like organzing and purging done! Good luck!
Good morning, Niky,
Good luck with the purging and cleaning, I am sure you will be happy once done.
Also, thank you for all the linkups last year. Happy New Year

Good luck to you (and me)! I’m doing a Christmas decoration clean-out too! Your idea of pulling it all out at once is so good! It inspired me to do it today!
I always look forward to seeing what you’re up to each Sunday!
Mary,
I’m still working on mine– it’s a big job, but I know it will feels so good once done. Glad I inspired you, too! Happy New Year!
