Sundays on Silverado #225

Evie at Build-a-Bear

Life Lately

Happy Sunday, friends! Are you ready for a photo dump? 😊

We had such a wonderful holiday filled to the brim with fun and family!

Build-A-Bear

On Wednesday night when the kids got into town, we took Evie to make her first Build-A-Bear (we’ll take Hayden back when he’s old enough to build his own bear).

She was so excited and I had so much fun helping her build her new friend, that she named “Boots”.

Thanksgiving Dinner

I’m always happiest when our table is surrounded by family. Our disposable table setting worked out pretty well, leaving us with less mess to clean up, and more time to enjoy the evening.

Disney on Ice

The next morning, we headed off to see Disney on Ice!

lunch

We went out to lunch before getting home barely in time for grandbaby #3 to arrive for a visit, too.

Today, the house is quiet, and I’m exhausted, but in the best kind of way. I hope your holiday was equally as wonderful.

In Case You Missed It…

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it’s time to fully embrace Christmas! Here are a couple of ideas that might give you some inspiration.

It was Pinterest Challenge week, and we shared several ideas for creative & unique gift wrapping. Also, here is a great idea for a simple, yet beautiful ornament you can create with just a few supplies. It also makes a great package topper!

  1. I certainly know what you mean by the best kind of tired, Niky! We just returned from 5 days with my Littles and their family! I wouldn’t change a thing about our time together but I’m always ready to sleep in my own bed and have a bit of down time! Sounds like you and your family had a memorable Thanksgiving weekend! So much fun going on! Thank you so much for featuring our Nativity/Advent Connections post. My Little L was so excited to see “Baby Jesus” on Sunday!

  2. Looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Family is the most important thing. Thanks so much for the feature for Five Quick christmas Projects. It was such fun putting them together. Wishing you and your family a very happy holiday season.
