Life Lately
I’m still busy healing from surgery, but after 2 weeks of being mostly stuck at home, I was thrilled when the babies came for a visit!

These sweeties were certainly the sunshine I needed. :-)

Evie got to go downtown to see “Baby Shark” at the Civic Center, so my husband and I got to keep Baby Hayden for a couple of hours.
Baby snuggles are magical for healing I’m pretty sure.
In Case You Missed It…
We’ve had some unseasonably warm weather the past couple of weeks, with record high temps in the 50s. It tricked me into thinking that spring was here, and then we were rudely reminded it was still February in Iowa with a few more inches of snow.
So, until real spring arrives, I will console myself by bringing out some of my spring decor.

The Weekly Features!
Being stuck at home has me itching to travel, so these travel features were so fun to read this week. I’ve used some of my recuperation time to plan some big adventures for us once I’m back on my feet again. Perhaps I’ve gone a bit overboard, but what else is there to do while I’m stuck at home?
Vegas, California, and Canada/Niagra Falls are all officially booked, and the British Isles with a group of friends is in the planning stages. What tips/suggestions/places to see/eat do you have for me?
What other suggestions do you have for places that are “must sees”? I’m ready for more ideas!
I’ve got another big surgery coming up and will need more planning to do to keep me busy.
