Life Lately
Christmas festivities are in full swing around here lately. This year, I find myself enjoying the little things the most.
For example, isn’t Evie making Christmas cookies the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen?

The flour-covered face, the look of concentration. This tiny girl took her cookie-making duties very seriously. Santa will be pleased with the outcome, I have no doubt.

Two years ago at this time, she was fighting for her life in the NICU and getting ready for brain surgery, and look at her now. Miracle. ✨

We did a little shopping, Starbucks in hand of course. Evie enjoyed pretending to drink coffee too (with an empty cup!) She’s definitely in the “I want to do what the grown-ups do” stage.

She’s been reading books each night from the Advent Calendar I made her. I visited for a couple of days this week, so I got to help her open and read her choices. So much fun.

The hubs and I took a stroll through the Christmas market downtown. We bought a couple of small things, but it was fun just soaking in the atmosphere.

What have you been doing to enjoy the season this year?
In Case You Missed It…
