Sundays on Silverado #165

foggy morning on the pasture

Life Lately

Happy Sunday and happy October!

Even though we are experiencing record high temps this weekend, we’ve still had some lovely Fall mornings recently.

I love sipping my morning coffee in the screened porch and watching the sun come up over the pasture (retirement perk!).

In other news, we’ve been installing our third beautiful closet from Wood Closet Designs, this time in the new addition to my daughter and son-on-law’s home.

We had the cutest little assistant…

The full posts about closets two and three will be coming soon. You can see the first closet in this post about my home office.

We’ve been harvesting the last of the peppers and tomatoes from our little garden.

We made a few trays of stuffed peppers for the freezer, and this spaghetti pie using a batch of roasted cherry tomatoes.

We’re trying to make the most of the last bit of produce before that first freeze arrives in just a few weeks. Even though it’s warm for October right now, the cold is coming way too soon for my liking…

In Case You Missed It…

It was Pinterest Challenge week, and my blogging friends and I had fun creating Fall and Halloween displays. You can check out my Vintage Halloween Vignette and all the others HERE. If you’re looking for some decorating inspo now that October has arrived, you won’t be disappointed!
