Life Lately
Working From Home
Our school board has decided we will continue having 100% virtual learning until at least December 14th, due to the high COVID rates and student/teacher absenteeism. I am settling into the new routine, and the kids seem to be, too. I’ve actually really enjoyed getting to interact with them without worrying about social distancing, masks, disinfecting, etc. I’ve been able to do some fun things that are harder to do in person this year when I have to limit group size and time. So while it’s not ideal, there are some advantages, and I’m focusing on those right now. 💕
Plus, I’m super happy that I got my home office done in the nick of time. I’m enjoying this cozy space to work in each day, and the commute is much better. 🤣

Blog Hops
I participated in two fun blogs hops this week! The first was about Christmas movies, and I shared my love of A Christmas Story and why it’s a sentimental part of my family’s Christmas tradition.

The second hop was about Hot Cocoa Bars! If you missed it, check out all the lovely ideas from several bloggers on how to set up a fun Hot Cocoa Bar for your family. Since many of our typical holiday plans may not be feasible this year, it’s little things like this that we can focus on to still bring festivity to our holiday season.

On Tuesday, the Pinterest Challenge with several other bloggers will go live. Here’s a little sneak peek.

Projects
This weekend, I finally finished this very special project that I’ve been working on for weeks, and hope to have it up on the blog soon. I’m so excited to share it with you.

The Weekly Features!

Interior Frugalista | Tabletop Christmas Tree With Louvered Door Slats
I love the rustic look of this tree Marie made, and the fact that she turned trash into treasure!

Dabbling and Decorating | Decorating with Flea Market Frames
I love using flea market finds in my home decor, and the way Ann used these repurposed frames is beautiful!

Love My Little Cottage | Painted Ice Skate Vans
Kristie gives a great tutorial on how to make these hand-painted shoes. She makes it look so easy!
