Life Lately
Oh boy, this past week has been so busy, but in a good way. One of those weekends when you’re so tired after it’s over, but your heart is full, ya know?
Birthday Party!
It was my mother-in-law’s 85th birthday, and that deserves a party!
Happily, we were able to gather a lot of the family together to celebrate.
All three boys were in town, along with all four of the kids.
Of course, Evie was a complete social butterfly.
It was such a fun party, and so good to have a full house.
Happy Birthday, Grammy!
Father’s Day
The next morning was Father’s Day. Evie and I were up early again while everyone else slept in.
Then, she made a rhubarb pie for her dad for Father’s Day.
And then she helped me with a little computer work. She makes a pretty cute assistant.
Later, we had an easy relaxing lunch for Father’s Day and played some lawn darts (when Teddy wasn’t running off with the goal!)
Here’s my sweet husband modeling his new Bears hat, new shirt, and other gifts from the kids.
As I said, it was a busy, but wonderful weekend.

I’m loving all the bright summer colors in this summer skort. It’s comfortable, knee-length, and so pretty.
I got this insulated bag for my bike rack that is perfect for carrying a few picnic supplies. It’s a great bag for a great price!
In Case You Missed It…
I’ve been working on staying better hydrated this summer. I don’t drink as much water as I should. Recently, Naked Nutrition sent me their new Strawberry Lemonade water enhancer and it’s been a game-changer!
It’s perfect for adding to my water bottle for bike rides, and around home I’ve been infusing it with various fruits and herbs. You can check out all of the delicious combos here.
