Sundays on Silverado #148

Thrifted Planter Makeover Project

Life Lately

I love summer. Anyone else?

I love all the things that go with summer: fun adventures, being outdoors, gardening, sunshine, relaxation…

We’re off to a good start.

We went to the zoo!

We played with the water table…

On Memorial Day, several of the kids and my MIL were able to come over for lunch.

Our daughter Lauren brought her new puppy, Teddy. Oh, he’s precious.

Rhubarb Crunch

I made my mom’s recipe for “Rhubarb Crunch” for dessert. It’s easy and so, so good.

And now, I’ll just leave you with these adorable pics that are the epitome of summer…

In Case You Missed It…

I had so much fun giving these thrift store candle sticks and planter pot a makeover! They make an appearance in next week’s Summer Home Tour, so be sure to check back on June 6 to see how I used them in my three-season porch.

The planter in my feature photo above looks like real aged copper, don’t you think? It only required two simple paint supplies and about 30 minutes to turn it into something fabulous. Use the link above to check it out.
