Easy Blueberry Scones- Mommy Hates Cooking

Life Lately

Happy Mother’s Day, my friends.

I’m happy to be surrounded by family today. Mother’s Day holds mixed emotions for me. It’s 5 years now since I lost my own mother, so that brings bittersweet memories.

Now I try to focus on the other aspects of Mother’s Day– celebrating my mother-in-law, my own daughter as a new mother, and of course, relishing my own motherhood and all the joy it has brought me over the years.

Wishing you all a beautiful day.

In Case You Missed It…

I love decorating for the patriotic holidays. Memorial Day is at the end of the month with July 4th not far behind! Now is the time to start saving your wine corks and paint sticks to make these fun & easy red, white, and blue projects.

The Weekly Features!

Who else loves Nordic Ware pans? 🙋🏼‍♀️

I enjoy collecting them, especially because I often find them in thrift stores and flea markets for just 4 or 5 bucks.

I was happy to see a couple of gorgeous Bundt cakes linked up this week that I’d love to try in one of my pretty Nordic Ware pans.

(You can see more of my favorite pans linked up at the bottom of this post.)

This week’s features also include a recipe for blueberry scones and a fun homemade pop tart recipe.

Lots of baking inspiration…
