Life Lately
My daughter sent me this text this week: “3/20/23, Evie’s first steps.” Evelynn’s been working so hard in PT to reach that milestone and this week she did it! 🎉 The therapist documented 6 steps the first time, and later in the week 12 steps!
Thank goodness for Facetime, because Gigi needed to see for herself right away, of course.
My daughter also sent me this pic of Evie at Kindermusik class. Evie standing, unassisted, with all of the other kids. My heart nearly exploded.

Can’t you just see how proud she is from the look on her face?
Favorites for the Week
Garden Sign
I am so ready for spring.
It’s still pretty chilly here in Iowa, but I’m preparing for the day when we are safe from the last frost (we usually say Mother’s Day around here) and I can get busy in my garden!
This custom rustic garden sign is a current favorite! Isn’t it fabulous?!

I’ll be sure to show you once I get it hung up. The garden is my happy space, and this is going to add such a fun and personal element.
If you’re thinking ahead, this would be a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. Since it’s customizable, you can order it to say something perfect for Mom. Check out all of the other options HERE.
Micesterpiece
Look at these adorable little mouse hole decals! Have you ever seen anything cuter?!

I thought they’d be so fun for Baby Evie when she visits. Since she’s on the move now, it’s a sweet little detail for her to discover at Gigi’s house.
Plus, I appreciate that they are removable, so no harm is done to the wall or baseboards.
I got the mouse praying, and the mouse reading a book, but there are dozens more designs. You can check them all out at the Micesterpiece shop.
If you still need something to tuck into Easter baskets, this is such an affordable and fun idea.
In Case You Missed It…
I finally got around to posting about this adorable antique wooden high chair makeover that I did for our sweet little Evie. Be sure to visit the post for the tutorial, but also to see the series of pics of Evie sitting in the highchair. 💕 #superstar #miracle
