Sundays on Silverado #134

Thistle Key Lane Birds Nest

Life Lately

My favorite baby came for the weekend.

We had a birthday dinner for her mama and then baby Evie spent the rest of the night entertaining us with all the new things she’s learned. 🙂

Evie walking into the sunset.

Her walking (with support) skills are getting better and better.

In Case You Missed It…

This week I shared my latest furniture makeover. At least a year ago, we picked up this old Pottery Barn dresser on Marketplace for free.

It was a really good quality piece but was an ugly orange knotty pine that was fashionable, oh, about 20 years ago.

Pottery Barn has a current version of this dresser selling on their website right now for…….. $2199. My upcycled version is a pretty close match.

And did I mention mine was free?

You can check out the full transformation HERE.

The Weekly Features!

We got hit with snow and ice (again) in Iowa this week. It’s certainly not feeling very spring-like outside right now, but at least “spring is in the air” in all the link-ups you guys shared. Thank you!

  1. Oh my gosh, her “Get out of my way I have places to go!” look is totally adorable. I love how determined she is even as a little one. I hope your birthday celebration was a fun one and you get some spring temps soon. There is pollen everywhere in Florida right now but the humidity is low so we’ll take it! Hugs and thanks for hosting, CoCo

  2. Thank you for hosting. I know what you mean about being glad to read some Spring posts. I noticed the snow in the background of babe walking in front of the big window, so exciting I bet. I am excited to have my little hare picture featured. Thanks again.
