Life Lately
I know. It’s Saturday, and I’m posting “Sundays on Silverado” a day early. But it’s for a good reason! There’s a lot going on this week!
Happy Halloween!
First, let me wish you a Happy Halloween! Do you have plans tonight? This weird year has had a way of making us rethink all of our typical plans. So many of the things we usually would have done, just aren’t smart this year. We are setting record high positive cases in our area the past few days. 😒
So, we are staying in, sipping some cocktails, making a charcuterie board for dinner, and watching some Ghost Hunters reruns on TV. Even though we may have to adapt and adjust for awhile, it doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate and look for ways to have fun right now.
Here are a couple of fun Halloween cocktails if you need some inspiration:

Blog Hops
I’ve been invited to participate in several Blog Hops, with some great bloggers!
The first Hop will be posted Sunday morning– The DIY Blog Hop I’ve participated in before with some great women DIYers. This month’s focus is all about offices, and I’m finally going to show you the office makeover I’ve been working on little by little.
Here are my other posts from the DIY Blog Hop, in case you missed them:
- Closet & Small Space Organization
- Front Entryway Project
- December’s project is all about lighting.
Then, on Friday, stay tuned for the first day of a Christmas Blog Hop. I am sharing a beautiful DIY ornament that has a lot of sentimental meaning to me. 💕
But that’s not all! On Saturday, I’ll be part of a Thanksgiving Blog Hop, where I’ll give you a sneak peek at our socially distanced plans for our small family Thanksgiving Dinner.
It’s a busy week/month at The House on Silverado. I hope you’ll come back and see all the things I’m working on!
The Weekly Features!

This week’s features are all about Thanksgiving food! You guys really showed up with some great shares! Based on all the food posts that were linked, I can tell many of you are already in full planning mode for your Thanksgiving dinners, no matter what your holiday may look like this year.
