Life Lately
We had such a great weekend. Busy, but great.
On Saturday, we went to visit my favorite baby. Evelynn sported her gear for her two favorite teams.

It was a fabulous day watching the Hawkeyes (even though they lost), playing with Little People, eating football food, and sampling some Oktoberfest flavors.

We also spent part of Sunday visiting some historic homes in our area.
The Riverbend Neighborhood Association puts on this home tour once a year to raise funds for continuing to rehab several of these old beauties.
Nine homeowners allowed visitors into their homes to see the progress they’ve made in restoring them back to their original splendor.
I love peeking inside an old house, don’t you?

In Case You Missed It…
I made these Layered Peanut Butter Brownies. They were a huge hit and made great game-day treats.

I also shared my tips for how to layer bedding. Extra layers make a bed look fluffy and inviting, but with the cooler months approaching, they can add to the warm and cozy factor, too!
