Sundays on Silverado #107

Life Lately

It’s been a busy back-to-school week for me, with lots of teacher meetings and prep before the kiddos come next week.

My sweet husband sent these gorgeous pink roses to brighten up my room and surprised me with dinner one night when I worked especially late.

This ain’t no Ragu from a jar, friends. He made homemade tomato basil sauce from our garden Roma tomatoes. He’s a keeper. ❤️

I don’t have any more pics to share with you because this week has been nothing but work, work, work…

In Case You Missed It…

We had family visiting from out of state this past week, and I served this Peach Tomato Cucumber Salad as a side dish to our favorite One-Pan Caprese Chicken. It made for a delicious meal filled with garden produce.

  1. I’m thrilled to see my game tile fall wall art featured this week. Thanks a bunch, Niky, and I hope your second week back isn’t quite so busy. Hubby’s pasta looks delish!

  2. Thank you so much for the feature of my vase. Niky, that peach and cucumber salad sounds delicious. I would have never thought of putting peaches in with tomatoes and cucumbers. I need to give it a try.

  3. Hi Niky. Thanks so much for hosting. I’ve linked up with #1 – HOW TO PARALLEL PARK and #2 – NATIONAL BUTTERED CORN DAY. Check out my link parties if you have time, would love to have you join us!
