Sundays on Silverado #101

Life Lately

We had such a great holiday weekend.

The Zoo

My daughter, son-in-law, and my favorite baby came for the weekend. First on our agenda– Evie girl’s first trip to the zoo!

It was a pretty warm afternoon, so when we finished at the zoo, we met up with my son and we all went out for dinner and some refreshing red, white, and blue frozen cocktails.

I had the best view at dinner. ❤️ Love that little smiley face.

Fourth of July

July 4th was a scorcher around here. It was hot.

But we still had a great time with family, food, fun, and fireworks.

I’m happiest when all my people are here. It was a good, good weekend. 🥰

In Case You Missed It…

The Make your Own Bomb Pop Drink Bar was a huge hit at our July 4th party. It was the perfect drink on such a hot day.

I linked up for the monthly Prime Purchases post with lots of summertime buys.

The Weekly Features!

When it’s this hot outside, I look for things to serve that are cool and refreshing, and don’t require heating up my kitchen with the stove/oven.

This week I’m featuring delicious recipes that are perfect for the dog days of summer.

All features have been pinned to the Sundays on Silverado Pinterest Board!

I’m excited to see what y’all are up to!

  1. HI NIky
I love this post! I pinned the bomb pops! I love the photos of your granddaughter and the watermelon pic was adorable with Evie!
