Several Simple Dining Table Centerpiece Ideas filled with fresh spring looks and even some subtle nods to Easter.
Welcome to another round of the Pinterest Challenge, hosted by Cindy from County Road 407!
This month we are creating simple dining table centerpieces with a nod towards spring and Easter. If you’re looking for some spring kitchen decorating ideas, you’ve come to the right place!
And, if you’ve found your way here from French Ethereal, welcome! Barbara always has such pretty designs.
If you haven’t heard about the Pinterest Challenge before, here’s how it works: Several different bloggers take the same photo, and create something similar that will work in their own homes, and with their own style. It’s so fun to see all the different interpretations of the same photo!

Our inspiration photo this month comes from Suzy at Worthington Court.

I love everything about her simple dining table filled with neutral colors and pops of springy green!
This is so my style too, so I set about gathering up things around my own home to create something similar for my dining table.
Simple Dining Table Centerpiece Ideas
I’m so ready for warm weather and sunshine again, so I really enjoyed getting out some of my simple spring kitchen decor this week.

Coinicidentally, I already had the exact same tiered tray that Suzy used in the inspiration photo.
I love styling tiered trays, and have done several for various holidays, but I typically display mine on the kitchen island, so decorating it as part of a dining table centerpiece this time was fun!

Like Suzy, I kept my color choices neutral and springy green.
I gathered items around my house that represent spring, and layered them on and around my rustic tiered tray. Some of the items I selected were:
- Bunnies and rabbits of various sizes, all neutral colored.
- Mini terracotta clay pots
- Faux Easter eggs in muted colors
- White candles–I wrapped some twine around a small glass votive jar to give it texture and more visual interest
- White ironstone bowls that were my great-grandmother’s
- A small rustic church ornament (Suzy used a tiny birdhouse, which I didn’t have, so this was a good substitute and works well with this arrangement)
- Mini potted plants for greenery
- Woven water hyacinth circular placemats
- Pretty, but simple dinnerware
- Tiny nest with eggs

I have a long dining table, and I love how this arrangement spills out of the tiered tray and along the length of the table.
A small arrangement in the center of a big table can look disproportionate, but this simple dining table centerpiece is a better fit.

Adding a simple stack of dinner plates to the side is an easy way to add to the table centerpiece. It almost gives the impression that dinner is almost ready for people to grab a plate and dig in!

Spring isn’t quite here in Iowa yet (can you see the snow still in the pasture?), but this simple dining table centerpiece adds a little touch of spring in my kitchen to help me stay patient until spring arrives.

Next, I hope you’ll hop over to see Laura at Everyday Edits. You’re going to love her beautiful Easter centerpiece!

I love your tiered tray Niky, and that weathered bunny on the bottom is my favorite, well any bunny, but that one is so cute! I saw the snow, ours recently melted. I am usually one who loves to hold onto snow as long as I can, but this year, I am so ready for spring. Then we can have spring up until fall arrives. I bet looking out at those pastures is quite welcoming. Thank you for sharing with Whimsy Home Wednesday!
Beautiful and so fresh and perfect for Spring. Featuring when my party opens!
Thank you so much, Carol. I’m craving spring extra this year. 🙂
What a lovely centerpiece!
wow!! what a centerpiece !! I like the way you decorated the dining part with the centerpiece and the bunnies are so cute. Nice idea to decorate the dining table.
Thanks so much, Melissa!
Niky, in spite of snow on the ground, your centerpiece definitely has the feel of spring. Love your tiered tray and the stand-up bunny.
I am in love with all your beautiful bunnies! What a fun Pinterest challenge!
I’m loving how you styled your tiered tray Niky. I can’t get enough of your cute little bunnies. Great job!
Niky, I love your version of this centerpiece! All of your bunnies are adorable and I love the pastel eggs you added. It’s all perfect for spring and hopefully that snow will be melted soon!
Love all the textural elements you brought together on your tiered tray; so pretty. And yes, we got snow today:( That’s March in the north!
Niky, I love your sweet bunnies and it’s nice that you were able to use an antique piece from your great-grandmother. Really nice memories! I’m glad that you mentioned the snow in the pasture beyond the window. I was wondering what all that was!
Happy almost spring to you guys up north! My son is in Sioux Falls, SD, so he is commiserating with you,
Hugs,
Barb 🙂
Your simple spring centerpiece is perfect for your home and large table, Niky! Love how the dramatic colors work with the spring touches!
Niky, your pretty centerpiece is perfect for your long table and I love your bunny collection too! They have the sweetest faces! Pinning!
Such a charming spring centerpiece. I adore all of the sweet bunnies!
Great job on the PC this month! You always do such a great job with tiered trays. My mind doesn’t think like that so I’m a little jealous. And your bunnies are all so cute. Love that tall dark one! Glad you could join in. Hope you had fun traveling too. Pinned
Thanks so much, Cindy! I always enjoy the PC and all the fun inspiration. Ha, “funny” story about traveling. Delta canceled our flight, and since it was spring break week, there were no other options to get us to Destin, so we stayed in Iowa. Major bummer.
Niky,
Your table centerpiece looks so cute. Love doing these challenges together.
Hi Niky, I thought that tray looked familiar! I love the scale of your tiered tray. Love the bunnies and the whole thing. Great job! Happy Tuesday!
Thanks so much, Laura!
