Today, I’m linking up with Tanya and several other bloggers to share our best Amazon purchases of 2020!
I’ve been a regular Amazon Prime shopper for several years, mainly because it makes our busy life a tiny bit easier. But in 2020, Amazon was helpful not only for making life a little less chaotic, but also for reducing shopping trips into stores, and thereby reducing our COVID exposure, too.
Now that it’s Christmas shopping season, online shopping with Amazon continues to be a lifesaver. I can squeeze shopping into the little pockets of time I have available, and my items get delivered right to my door.
Online shopping allows for a double benefit– reducing our exposure, AND allowing us to enjoy the simple pleasures of the holiday season without the stress of crowded stores, and days off spent running from place to place trying to find the perfect gift.
Below is a list of my favorite, and/or most used items from 2020. Maybe you’ll even find something here that will let you check one more item off your holiday gift list!
Amazon Smart Plug, works with Alexa
We have several of these around the house, and I love being able to use voice commands to turn lights (especially Christmas lights!) on and off easily.
Creative Co-Op Distressed Brown Wood Metal Handle Two-Tier Tray
I bought this tiered tray early in the year, and have loved decorating it for each season. I have the brown one pictured, which is sort of like a weathered barnwood color, but it also comes in black or white.
You can click HERE to see all my designs using this beautiful tiered tray.
Vionic Women’s Indulge Relax Plush Slipper – Adjustable Slipper with Concealed Support
I love my Vionic slippers. They are cozy and have great arch support for wearing around the house all day. I have the ivory, but they also come in pink, black, gray, and a really fun leopard print!
Blue Light Blocking Glasses-3Pack
I heard so much about these glasses from other people, before finally trying them for myself, since teaching online requires so much time in front of my screen. For less than $15 you can get a THREE pack, and choose your colors. I got this fun set with white, pink, and leopard!
Sterling Silver Infinity Figure 8 Bead Drop Earrings
These earrings are so cute, you’d never believe they cost less than $13! I bought them because my bigger earrings kept getting caught in my mask ear loops, and these smaller ones are working out great.
SOL DE JANEIRO Brazilian Bum Bum Cream 75ml
I tried this cream at the suggestion of another blogger, and was so glad I did. I love the creamy texture, and the smell is positively addicting!
UNITE Hair Leave-IN Conditioner, 8 Fl Oz
My hair is so fine, and tangles so easily. I have to use a detangler or leave-in conditioner just to get a brush through it! This is my new favorite. It works well and smells like candy. 🍬
These herb scissors are so handy, especially for chopping cilantro, which we use a lot of around here. Super efficient and easy to clean. Love them.
Linon Talia Office Chair, Gray
My new office chair continues to be a fave of the year, especially since I’ve been spending so much time in my home offiice this year. Now that I’m currently teaching from home, and sitting in this chair for a full 8 hours a day, I’m an even bigger fan. It’s stylish and comfy.
We got so much use out of this table over the summer! From picnics, to barbecues, to outdoor music concerts at the winery, this portable table with cup holders worked out perfectly.
Contigo Coffee Couture AUTOSEAL Vacuum-Insulated Travel Mug, 14oz
I have loved my Contigo Travel Mugs for years, and now they offer them in several pretty new patterns! They keep my coffee hot for hours and help me avoid spills. 😂
Kauai Coffee Single Serve Pods, Na Pali Coast Dark Roast, 12 Count
Ever since we visited Kauai Coffee on our honeymoon to Hawaii, this has been my favorite coffee! Luckily, it’s easy to order it from Amazon and have it whenever we want.
Magnolia Table, Volume 2: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering
I have had Volume 1 for a couple of years, and pre-ordered Volume 2 as soon as I could this past spring. I have practically cooked my way through both of these books, and haven’t come across a recipe yet that wasn’t delicious!
Clear Plastic Storage Organizer Container Bins with Cutout Handles, Transparent Set of 4
This spring, I reorganized my whole pantry, and used a variety of these clear organizers to keep everything in its place. I love that they are transparent, so I can easily see what’s in each one. Check out this post to see them in action, and all the other sizes I used as well.
8 Pack 1-inch Swivel Rubber Caster Wheels
As a part of my pantry reorganization, I made these DIY Pantry Crates on Wheels, and they have turned out to be so functional! They have created a ton of storage in my pantry, and roll in and out so easily. One of my favorite DIY projects this year for sure.
Cotton Buffalo Plaid Check Rug Washable Woven Outdoor Rugs for Layered Door Mats
I bought this over-sized buffalo plaid rug to layer under my doormat when I did my Fall Front Porch. It adds a fun look to my porch decor. I’m currently working on my Winter Front Porch, and love how this rug works with my Christmas decor, too. I hope to have that post ready to share with you soon!
Roots & Branches Harvest Stainless Steel Multi-Use Canner with Temperature Indicator
Over the summer, we built and planted a garden on our new property. As a result, I had a lot of veggies to can by the end of the summer! I bought and used this water bath canner, and highly recommend it. This would make a great gift for gardeners on your list, so they can preserve some of their summer haul.
Ezy Dose Easy Fill (7-Day) Pill, Medicine, Vitamin Organizer Box
Sometimes it’s the little things. This inexpensive pill organizer has streamlined our mornings, which is a big help on busy days when we both have to rush out of the house to work. It’s meant for AM and PM pills, but we use it as a “his & hers”– his vitimins in the green side, and mine in the purple. Each Sunday, I refill it for the week with all of our daily vitimins, and then each morning, they are easy to dump out and swallow.
A stocking stuffer, maybe?

That’s it for my favorite Prime finds of the year. I’d love to know what you’ve found on Amazon that I should check out. I’ve barely begun my Christmas shopping, so you’d be helping me out with your great suggestions! 🎁
Happy Priming,

Thanks for sharing your great finds! Linked mine up as well at hello monday!
Great finds for 2020. Many of them were my favorites as well. I have a similar desk chair and love the Magnolia cookbooks too. Thanks for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya – The Other Side of the Road
