Prime Purchases–September 2020

Welcome to the September edition of Prime Purchases, where we share our latest online finds.

Amazon Prime continues to be my friend, particularly right now when I’m contending with both a pandemic, and back-to-school. I literally do not have time, nor do I want to be out and about anymore than I have to be right now. I feel like I’m already over-exposed at school, so ordering much of what we need, and Amazon bringing it right to my door, is a huge help.

Plus, we recently got an Amazon distribution center in our area, so many things are one-day delivery. Life saver. Maybe literally.

Womens Leopard Pumpkin Printed Shirt

This year at school, we are allowed to wear scrubs or jeans and t-shirts. So far, I’ve been sticking with jeans, and t-shirts that are easy to wash each night after I get home from school. I couldn’t resist this adorable leopard pumpkin shirt! Plus, it’s pink, which is my fave color, so it’s a win/win.

Contigo Coffee Couture AUTOSEAL Vacuum-Insulated Travel Mug, 14 oz, Twilight Shell

I have 3 Contigo Travel Mugs already, that I’m using to carry my coffee to school. I have been using my Contigos for years, and love them! They are durable, nearly spill-proof, and keep my coffee warm all morning long! The ones I have are the solid colors, but recently I noticed they now have them in really lovely patterns/colors, so I ordered this one to add to my collection. It’s even prettier in person! Click on the link above, and you can see not only this “Twilight Shell” one that I bought, but all the other beautiful patterns!

Ezy Dose Easy Fill (7-Day) Pill, Vitamin Organizer Box

This has helped streamline our mornings, now that I’m back teaching in my school building again. I load it with all our vitimins each Sunday for the whole week. My hubby gets the green side, and I’m the purple side. Then we can just pop ’em out and swallow them, rather than having to open multiple vitimin bottles each morning. Big time saver!

Another reason I chose this specific one, is that the whole bottom opens up, making it so much easier to load, without having to open 14 little slots individually to fill.

SQUIRREL BRAND Artisan Nuts Sweet Brown Butter Cashews

Sometimes at work, I’m too busy for an actual lunch break. I like keeping nuts or trail mix in my desk, so I at least have something to nibble on while I run here and there. These were delish.

Watkins All Natural Original Gourmet Baking Vanilla, with Pure Vanilla Extract, 11 ounces Bottle, 1 Count

I’ve been doing so much baking lately, it was time to order a replacement on my favorite Watkins Gourmet Baking Vanilla. This stuff is literally the best. We visited the Watkins Museum and Factory last summer in Winona, Minnesota and stayed in the Bed & Breakfast where some of the Watkins family lived. It was so fun to learn all about the history of the Watkins spices.

Dr Teal’s Epsom Salt Matcha Green Tea Bath Soaking Solution – Balance & Calm – Pack of 2, 3 lb Resealable Bags – Moisturize Your Skin, Relieve Stress and Sore Muscles

Taking a long, hot bath in our deep soaker tub is one of my favorite things to do to relax. I have a variety of these Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salts, but this new one is great. I love the scent, and how well they work to ease away stress and soothe sore muscles.

5 PACK Reusable Glasses Style Visor Transparent Anti-Fog Shield

All teachers at my school were provided with one shield, but it has an elastic band that goes around the head, and I’m not a fan. These that attach to a frame, like glasses, give me a little more breathing space and are more comfy. I thought they were reasonably priced for a 5-pack.

The Original Donut Shop Dark, Single-Serve Keurig K-Cup Pods, Dark Roast Coffee, 96 Count

I always buy my K-cups on Amazon. My target price is less than 50 cents per cup. These Donut Shop Darks are a favorite, and right now are priced at only 48 cents per cup, which is a deal.

General Finishes Water Based Milk Paint, 1 Quart, Alabaster

I’ve tried lots of different paints for my various projects, but now, I only use General Finishes Milk Paint. The coverage is superior to anything else I’ve tried. One coat is generally all it takes for a matte finish, AND you usually don’t need to do any prep work. Plus it comes in a multitude of of gorgeous colors. I bought two quarts of this Alabaster white recently for a project that I can’t wait to share with you!

I’d love to hear about your Prime Purchases, too! Drop me a comment and tell me about your finds!
