I’m still a bit shocked that it’s October already, but it is, and it’s the first Monday of the month, so I’m linking up with Tanya to share our monthly Amazon Prime finds!

My Prime Finds for the Month
Sourdough Starter Kit
My daughter and I recently took a sourdough bread-making class together. Not only did I have a great afternoon spending time with my girl, but we came home with our own sourdough starter and have both been practicing our bread-baking skills. We’ve had some good results so far, and our husbands have been the happy recipients of plenty of fresh-baked bread!
After the class, I bought each of us this kit that contains just about everything needed to begin cultivating this hobby. Next, I’m dreaming of adding this Le Creuset bread oven to my kitchen as well. :-)
COLOR WOW Dream Cocktail Carb Infused Leave-in Treatment
I have very fine hair that is just beginning to thicken up after I lost at least half of my hair last year after getting Covid. This carb-infused thickening spray helps add fullness and body to my hair as it’s slowly growing back.
Diva Laundry Detergent
I was influenced to buy this scented detergent after seeing it make the rounds on social media. I have to admit, it does smell amazing. It’s kind of pricey for the small bottle, but I still use my regular Tide detergent and add just a splash of this one to each load. It leaves my laundry with a wonderful scent without being overpowering and helps stretch this bottle for quite a long time.
Peets Dark Roast Coffee
Time to get a refill on one of my favorite types of coffee. I love this Chalet Blend, and also their holiday blend, which will be time to order soon because it always sells out way before the holidays are actually here.
“TikTok” Scrolling Ring
This is another purchase that TikTok made me buy, but again, I’m happy with it. I’ve had a rough year, healthwise, and still deal with chronic pain and fatigue. Sometimes, I have days where I’m in so much pain or so tired that all I can do is rest. This little scrolling ring helps me browse social media to distract me without having to hold my phone in my hand the whole time. It’s worth it for days like that.
Kids’ Cowboy Boots
Evie had a “dress like a cowgirl” day at preschool, so I ordered these boots for her. They were absolutely adorable on her, as you can see.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara
This is my absolute favorite mascara for the past few years. I used to buy it at Sephora until I realized I can have it sent right to my house from Amazon for the same price, or sometimes even less! It stays put all day but washes off easily.
Nakedade – Performance Enhancing Sports Drink Powder – Strawberry Lemonade
I husband and I like to add this powder to our water bottles when we go on bike rides. I don’t like the taste of a lot of sports powders, but this one is excellent!
L’Oreal Pro Longer
A refill of my favorite hair detangler and treatment for the ends of hair to prevent spit ends and frizzies. I buy in on repeat. It smells so good, too!
That’s it! What have you been Priming lately? I’d love to hear about it in the comments if you want to share!

I’d be so grateful if you’d support The House on Silverado by subscribing via email and following on social media. 💕

I’m so sorry to hear about the pain and fatigue. The scrolling device sounds like something that will help just a little. The sourdough sounds delicious. I recently saw that Aldi was selling a bread baking pan, although you can never predict if it will still be there. Thanks for linking up!
Hi Tanya! I got the Aldi bread pan, but it already has a chip in it after one use. I would hope the Le Creuset pan would be better quality and last for ages. :-) You never know though.
