It’s no secret that nearly everything we purchase around here comes from either Amazon or Costco. I really love Costco, but I honestly don’t know what I’d do without Amazon Prime. It’s one of those modern-day conveniences that has truly made life easier, and for that, I’m thankful. 🤪
I shared last month the treat basket we left for our delivery drivers, because I’m not joking when I say we get a delivery almost everyday. From household necessities, to gifts, to those random things that just pop up…. Amazon to the rescue!
For the new year, I’m joining Tanya from The Other Side of the Road to share my monthly Prime Purchases. Check back here on the first Tuesday of each month to see what I, as well as other bloggers, are “Priming”. Maybe you’ll see something you can’t live without. Or, maybe it will just help you feel better about your own Prime addiction? 😂
Dark Roast Keurig K-Cups
I frequently buy K-Cups for my Keurig coffee pot on Amazon, because we’re usually almost out before I realize it, and as I’m standing in front of the coffee pot using one of the last pods, I can just pull out my phone and order up a new batch that will get delivered within a day or two. Life saver. Because me with no coffee = BAD.🤣
My hubby and I both prefer the dark roast varieties, and there is no shortage of options on Amazon. This month I ordered two kinds. I’ve had both before and they are great. Plus, both kinds end up being about 46 or 47 cents per cup, which is pretty good. I try to aim for less than 50 cents per cup when purchasing K-Cups.

Softer Than Brittle Snack
We’ve spent a lot of time in the hospital with my dad this past month. One of those times, we were in the emergency room until close to 3:30 in the morning, after not having eaten since lunch at about 11:00 a.m. the day before.
My husband went off to a vending machine in the hospital in search of something to snack on that wasn’t a candy bar or chips. He came back with a smaller sized bag of this.
Softer than Brittle Pecan 5.5 oz
It’s vegan, gluten free, dairy free, contains no preservatives or hydrogenated oil, and is 130 calories per serving. I wouldn’t call it health food, but it is delicious and a better option than a lot of other things you’d find in a vending machine.
It comes in cashew and plain peanut flavors, too. I got this larger sized pouch to keep in my bag.
Monopod for my Camera
I used Christmas money from my dad, mother-in-law and hubby (from a gift he got me that ended up being returned) to buy myself a fun new toy.
I got this Tamron SP 150-600mm long-range lens from a local camera store, not from Amazon, but I did buy this monopod to go with it on Prime.
Camera Monopod, K&F Concept 4-Section 67″/171CM Compact Portable
I am planning a separate post sometime soon about my new lens and the wildlife pics that it’s helping me capture, so I won’t go into too much detail just yet. 😄 I’ve only had it a couple of days, but am having fun with it! We see so much interesting wildlife, from eagles, to egrets, to fox, to deer and more, that I can’t wait to see what kind of shots I can capture with this lens!
Blood Pressure Cuff
My dad’s health has been up and down for the past several weeks. The blood pressure cuff that he had at his house was an older version of this Omrom, and it just wasn’t working correctly anymore. After sitting at his kitchen table fiddling with it recently, trying to get it to take an accurate measurement, I finally just whipped out my phone, found this one on Amazon, and had it shipped directly to his address. Two days later it was there! That’s what I love about Amazon–no need to trek all over town looking for an item. I was able to get what my dad needed without ever leaving his side to go hunt one down.

Redeken Finishing Spray
When I got my hair cut a few weeks ago, the stylist used this texturizing spray, and I really liked it. They wanted almost $30 for it at the salon, so I passed. When I got out to my car, I looked it up on my phone, and Amazon had it for $14.99. Score! It was in my hands two days later for half the price.

A few things I can’t share yet…
There are a few other things I can’t share at the moment, because my husband’s birthday is later this week, and obviously most of his gifts were “Primed”. Since he’s an avid reader of my blog, I’ll have to post those items next month. 😁This is the perfect example of why I love Amazon Prime so much, though. As you know, we’ve spent a lot of time in the hospital with my dad in the past few weeks. Thanks to Prime, I’ve still been able to birthday shop for my very sweet, patient, kind, and deserving hubby right from my phone. 🥰
Check out what other bloggers are shopping for…
Hop over to The Other Side of the Road for Tanya’s Prime Purchases link up to see what other bloggers are Priming. Tell Tanya I sent ya!

I’d love to know what great things YOU’RE buying on Amazon! Maybe I need it, too! 🤣😂 Leave me a comment to share your great finds!
Happy “Priming”!
