Prime Purchases– February 2020

It’s time for this month’s round up of Prime Purchases. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again…I seriously don’t know what I’d do without Prime. It’s such a time saver, and I love that with the click of a few keys, you can find just about anything you’re looking for without traipsing through store after store looking for it. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

I’m again linking up with Tanya from The Other Side of the Road to share what treasures landed on my doorstep this month.

FreshJax Handcrafted Spices

These spices were a birthday gift for my hubby, who has recently been nicknamed “The GrillFather”, thanks to the awesome wood cutting board our son got him for his birthday. Grilling and smoking are some of his hobbies, and he always cooks us up some amazing meals. This past weekend he smoked two beef briskets using the instructions from Project Smoke, and let me tell you, they were amazing.

French Press Coffee Maker

My college son and his girlfriend were home this weekend, and they were telling me they both used French Press Coffee Makers to make their coffee. I love my Keurig, but I’m kind of a coffee fanatic, so it didn’t take much to convince me I also needed a French Press…🤪 With Amazon Prime as my bestie, I ordered it right up while we were still enjoying breakfast, and it was here the next day. Boom.

Copper Panorama Bird Feeder & Deluxe Wild Bird Seed

We have a lot of wildlife around our house, and it’s one of my favorite things about the area where we built our home. Recently, I’ve been noticing dozens of cardinals in the acre of land behind us. They were a bit too far off for me to capture good pics of them, even with my new camera lens, so I decided I needed a bird feeder to draw them in a bit closer. I haven’t been fast enough with my camera to capture any great shots yet, but as soon as I do, I’ll share them with you. I love the coppery finish of this bird feeder. It has such a pretty gleam in the sunlight and looks lovely against the snowy background.

Clear Plastic Storage Bins

Not long ago, I shared my farmhouse pantry crates on caster wheels with you. Making them inspired me to do a full pantry organization. I purchased a variety of plastic storage bins to accomplish that, and now my pantry is looking good. It makes me happy every time I walk in–it’s so tidy and easy to find things! I hope to get that post written up to share with you soon!

Mini Chalkboard Signs, 14 pieces

I love using chalkboard signs to label things, because they are so easy to erase and change when you want to use them for a different purpose. Plus, they are so cute! I purchased these for my pantry makeover, too.

8 Pack 1-inch Swivel Caster Wheels

These are the wheels I bought to make my farmhouse pantry crates. I made three crates, so I had to buy 2 sets. I still have 4 wheels left over for another project later!

Kauai Coffee K-Cups, Na Pali Coast Dark Roast

My husband and I honeymooned in Hawaii, and we toured the Kauai Coffee Estate. It was beautiful! They sell this exact same coffee there, but you can also get it on Amazon. Plus, right now it’s on sale for $5.99 for a 12 pack. That’s a great price! I usually pay almost twice this much, and it’s worth it!

Farmhouse Rustic Wood Bead Garland, Set of 3

I used these wooden beads in my Farmhouse Valentine Vignette. They are so cute and versatile, and add visual interest to your decor. Love.

Gourmet Herb Scissor Set

I am so happy with this purchase! We love cilantro around here, and cutting it up is generally a pain. I’ve only had these scissors a couple of weeks, and we’ve used them several times already. Brilliant.

Mint Julep Cups with Beaded Trim, 12 oz.

Last spring, my husband and I wanted to make some Mint Julep Cocktails for the Kentucky Derby. I went on Amazon to look for some, but apparently everyone else was inspired by Derby season to want Mint Juleps too, because most options were sold or deliverable only after the Derby was over. So this time, I’m planning ahead. You better believe I’ll have a Julep in my hand this year. 🐎

Genuine Leather Double Strap for Apple Watch

Isn’t this watch band adorable? I love how it dresses up my Apple Watch and makes it so fashionable. My daughter and I clearly think alike, because she got me one of these as a gift, and I got her one, too! ❤️

That’s it, friends! That’s what I’ve been shopping for lately…

  1. Yes: French Press Coffee is awesome. I did a product review for one several years ago but have since donated it to Goodwill. I am however, awaiting on Picture Frame from Amazon tomorrow.

    1. Hi Lauren!
You won’t be disappointed in the herb scissors. They’re genius! Every summer I grow a little herb garden, and have fun cooking and making cocktails with fresh herbs. These scissors will be perfect. I’ve recommended them to so many people already!
      Thanks for stopping by!
