Prime Purchases: August 2025

prime purchases 2025

Oh, dear. I have not been doing well keeping up with Prime Purchases. It seems like the first Monday of the month sneaks up on me every time!

I’m going to play a little catch-up up though, because several of you have messaged to kindly remind me. 🤣

Also, I’m linking up at the bottom for anyone who would also like to share their great shopping finds! They can be from Amazon or anyplace else where you found items that we all might like to check out.

PS. If you do decide to link up, I’d love a shout-out with a link back. 😍 That will also help us get more people to join our party. The more the merrier, right?

Oh, and to make sure you don’t miss any of our monthly Prime Purchases posts, you can subscribe by entering your email HERE.😍

My Prime Finds for the Month

COLOR WOW MONEY MIST – Luxe Leave-in Conditioning Treatment

This is my new favorite hair product! I have it on “Subscribe & Save” so that it shows about every 6 weeks. It’s perfect for removing tangles and leaving hair feeling soft and smooth.

Color Wow One-Minute Transformation

The Color Wow line of hair care has been knocking my socks off these past few months. I’ve switched almost all my products to this line. I tried this new one this month and loved it too! If your hair is looking less than ideal late in the day and you have someplace to go, just squeeze some of this in your palms and then smooth it over the entire length of your hair. Voila! Takes out the frizz, and gives it some shine and body. Amazing.

Lifelines Flameless Candle Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser

I originally ordered this amazing “candle” for our RV. It looks like a candle, but it’s actually an essential oil diffuser, so it’s perfect for the motorhome because there’s no worries about an open flame.

I loved it so much, I bought a second one for the house. It’s great for having around pets and little kids because there’s no concern about it getting knocked over or little kids getting their hands in the flame.

It’s made by “Melissa” from the Melissa & Doug toy line, which is one of our favorites around here, so I knew it had to be good. I love changing out the essential oil bottles, which just click in easily from the bottom for new scents whenever I want.

Oh, and you blow out the “flame” just like a real candle to turn it off! Genius.

All Glass Iced Coffee Cup With Lids and Straws

My iced coffee game has been strong lately, so I invested in some new glasses and an espresso cup for blending my fun concoctions. I’m not trying to brag, but some of my recipes are even better than my favorite Starbucks drinks! 😊

Kitsch Hair Ties- No Damage

My hair is not super thick, and breaks easily, so I’m very careful about what hair ties I use.

For years, I’ve been buying seamless fabric ties from Dollar Tree. Unfortuantely, they stopped carrying them, so I had to go on the hunt for a replacement. These from Kitsch fit the bill perfectly. They are comfortable and play nice with my hair. They’re not a $1.25 like my former ones, but I actually like them even more so it’s okay. I know they say for “thick curly hair” but trust me, they also work great on fine, straight hair.

Kitchen Sink Caddy

It was time for an upgrade to tidy up the sink area. I like this one because it drains water back into the sink rather than filling up at the bottom and getting icky like our last one.

Bluey Soft Potty Seat

The grandbabies came and stayed for 5 days a couple of weeks ago, so I bought this for the guest bathroom that they use. It was worth the money to hear Evie’s giggle when she saw it. ❤️

Mrs. Meyers Tomato Vine Dish Soap

Mrs. Meyers is hands-down my favorite dish soap. I like to rotate my soaps with the seasons, and this Tomato Vine scent is perfect for gardening season. Does anyone else love the smell of tomato vines? Reminds me of my happy place– tending to my plant babies.

LOLE’S Shampoo Bar and Conditioner, 2in1 with Coconut Oil for Volume & Strength

This bar shampoo and conditioner is great when you’re in a hurry. One step, in and out of the shower fast, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and smelling good.

Silicone Trays

Next up are several items I use for making Penny Puppy’s food.

When she came to use from the shelter, her fur was not in great shape. If you recall, she was rescued from a pet hoarder, so she wasn’t likely being fed a high-quality diet. ☹️

Her fur was rough and wiry, which isn’t the norm for a Poodle/Shih Tzu mix.

After she began to refuse her good-quality dry dog food, I began making her food homemade instead. After only a couple of weeks of her new diet, we noticed that she wasn’t scratching or chewing on her feet anymore, and her coat improved immensely. It is now so soft, and her little poodle curls magically showed up!

I make her a new batch of food once a week, and freeze it in these silicone trays, which makes it easy to ensure she’s getting fed the right amount each day.

Native Pet Dog Vitamins & Supplements – 11-in-1 Multivitamin Powder

Even though Penny’s food is made with lean ground meat and plenty of fruits and veggies, some supplements are still required to make sure her dietary needs are met. The Daily by Native Pet has 11 vitamins and minerals in just a scoop a day mixed into her food.

Native Pet Omega 3 Fish Oil for Dogs & Cats

Penny gets one pump of this Omega Oil on her dinner. I’m sure it has played a major role in the improvement of her coat.

Better Bones Bone Meal for Dogs – Dog Calcium Supplement

Homemade dog food does not have enough calcium to meet the daily needs of pups, so when I’m making a batch of food, I mix in several teaspoons of this bone meal. Amounts are listed on the back per pound of food.

Kelp Supplement for Dogs, Iodine Rich

And finally, Iodine is important in a dog’s diet so Penny gets a tiny bit of this kelp powder once per day in her food.

She had such a rough start in life for her first 4 months, so now I’m doing my best to help her make up for that.

Open Farm Salmon Silky Mousse Made with Responsibly Sourced Icelandic Fish

I’m leery of store-bought treats because it seems there is always some kind of recall. I opted to make Penny’s training treats using this salmon, so I know exactly what she’s getting, instead of fillers and preservatives.

That’s it! What have you been Priming lately? I’d love to hear about it in the comments if you want to share!
