Prime Purchases: April 2025

prime purchases 2025

I know, I missed the first Monday of the month.

In fact, I think I’ve missed a few recently. When Tanya decided to stop hosting, I thought maybe I’d stop sharing my Prime Purchases, but I’ve had quite a few of you message to say you miss them.

So, I’ve decided to bring it back, and I’m going to add a link up at the bottom for anyone who would also like to share their great shopping finds!

They can be from Amazon or anyplace else where you found great items that we all might like to check out. I love seeing what others have bought and loved, because I always get great gift ideas!

PS. If you do decide to link up, I’d love a shout-out with a link back. 😍 That will also help us get more people to join our party. The more the merrier, right?

My Prime Finds for the Month–RV Edition  🤣

Wicker Bike Basket for Pets

We tried out another option for taking Penny on bike rides with us. We brought the bikes along camping last week and used a different basket, and it was okay. I wanted to try something that was a bit sturdier, and this one fits the bill. Other than looking like doggie jail, it works pretty well!

Vinyl Elastic Picnic Cover with Bench Covers

These elastic picnic covers are so great! They stay tight on the table and benches and the wind can’t blow them away. I’m a bit of a germaphobe and it made me feel much better about using the picnic tables at the campsite.

Dog Cooling Vest

We took this camping with us, but didn’t need to use it as it wasn’t over hot weather. I’m keeping it though, to make sure we have a way to keep Penny cool as the weather heats up and we are biking, hiking, or even just camping. Our trainer recommended it. You get it wet, and the evaporation of the water helps keep your pet cool. Since Penny as black fur, she warms up fast in the sun.

Gorilla Mounting Putty

This stuff was awesome for holding things still in the motorhome when we were on the move. I even used it to hold the coffee pot in place, and it didn’t move a bit as we rolled down the road. A+ for this stuff!

Mini Cordless Table Lamp

This little lamp is perfect for the RV! I wanted something for some softer lighting in the camper at night rather than the harsh overhead lights. It gives off a soft warm light at the touch of a button, and is rechargable, so no messing with batteries. I used the Gorilla Putty to stick it to our table and it stayed that way the whole trip!

Countertop Ice Maker

Ice in 6 minutes with this thing! We tucked in the under-compartment of the motorhome, and could just pull it out, pour in a water bottle and get ice in minutes for our cold drinks. Perfect for camping, but also great for parties and BBQs.

Native Pet Dog Vitamins & Supplements

Since I started making homemade dog food, I add a half scoop of this to my pup’s meals to make sure she has a balanced diet. Stocked up on a second can to take in the camper.

Barebells Protein Bars Peanut Butter – 12 Count

Does anyone else love Barebells as much as I do? 🙋🏼‍♀️ They taste like candy bar, but are loaded with protein and low in sugar! Winning.

Washable Area Rugs

I got two of these for the RV. They are super soft on the feet and machine washable. I love the way they brighten up the interior of the camper, and add a touch of pretty green.

National Parks Scratch Off Poster

I bought this scratch-off poster to hang in the RV, as our goal is to visit as many National Parks as we can. It’s fun counting them down as we go.

Magnetic Poster Hanging Frame

This magnetic hanging frame is perfect for the National Parks poster. I used little piece of the Gorilla Putty to hold the bottom in place so it doesn’t swing around as we drive.

Vintage Forest Rustic Campfire Canvas Wall Art

Isn’t this vintage campfire canvas awesome? It’s the perfect piece of art for the RV. I got an inexpensive frame with plexiglass rather than glass, just in case. Then I painted the frame a dark forest green. It the perfect artwork for our cabin-y vibe.

Camco Water Filter

Nobody wants questionable water at a campground, right? We use bottled water for drinking, but this still makes me feel better about showering, washing dishes, etc.

3-piece Reversible Forest Bedspread

When I saw this bedspread, I knew I’d found the perfect one for our “cabin in the woods” feel for the RV. I love that it’s reversible with various colors of green stripes on the other side, too.

Sweet Home Collection RV Bed Linen Set, Short Queen

RV matresses are shorter than regular mattresses, so we had to buy new sheets. I was pleasantly surprised with how soft and nice these were.

Memory Foam RV Mattress Pad Short Queen

Even though our camper has a pretty good mattress, I still added a memory foam topper. I like a soft mattress and this added the perfect touch. We all slept so well on our first trip!

Glad Collapsible Waste Basket

This little can is multipurpose. It collapses to save space when not in use, which is great in a small space like a motorhome. Plus, it can attach to the counter to make tossing food scraps easier. It has a detachable bar that keeps the trash bag secure as well.

That’s it! What have you been Priming lately? I’d love for you to link up or leave some suggestions in the comments if you want to share!

I’d be so grateful if you’d support The House on Silverado by subscribing via email and following on social media.
