My Prime Finds for the Month
Well, you might recall that our Spring Break trip to the beach got canceled at the last minute due to Delta canceling our flight and then telling us “all other routes are full”, so we had no other options to get there.
I originally bought this new set of packing cubes for that trip, but we do still have several upcoming trips scheduled, including a replacement beach vacation this summer, so these will still get plenty of use.
We already have a couple of sets of these, but I love them so much, that I decided to get an additional set in a fun color to tell them apart more easily from the gray and black ones my husband uses. Packing cubes are truly the best way to pack. Have you tried them?
I also bought these Yellow Box flip flops to use on the sandy beaches in Florida. This particular pair costs less than 20 bucks, so it’s not a big deal if they get full of sand. However, for the price, Yellow Box sandals are so comfy and cute.
My absolute favorite sandals of all time are Vionic Karinas. I have them in multiple colors and keep reordering them year after year. They are the only flip-flop type sandal that I can wear comfortably all day long. They have great arch support and are still stylish. I have them in black, white and now this pretty pale pink called “peony”.
I’ve been working on several crafty projects using my Dixie Belle supplies. Watch for them all to show up on the blog soon!
I turned the unfinished wooden craft eggs into these using the Dixie Belle Vintage Floral transfers. I can’t wait to show you the whole project in a few days. Be sure to check back.
Remember the vintage buffet I bought last summer?
Since our trip got canceled over Spring Break, I had a little time on my hands and used it to get started on this old girl. I painted her in Dixie Belle Silk in Black Sands and then bought this beautiful paper to use as a drawer liner.
I can’t wait to show you the finished piece soon!
I love using zipped pillow covers, because it’s so easy to change the look of your pillows seasonally, without having to take up much room to store the pillow covers.
I bought this plain set of linen pillow covers and then customized them with more of my Dixie Belle transfers.
This is another easy tutorial that will be coming to the blog soon!
Of course, you know there has to be something for the grandbaby in my Amazon purchases? When she was here for “Bed & Breakfast Weekend” a couple of weeks ago, she took a bath in my deep soaker tub using this ring. Her therapists recommended this inflatable neck ring for her PT, but I think any baby would enjoy the freedom of movement it allows. It was so fun watching her kick all around.
I’ve got several furniture makeovers in the works, and needed a space to take good photos of them without having to haul every single one from the garage into the house just for photos. This backdrop and stand were the answer! This would work great for baby photoshoots, or parties too!
I’m so stinkin’ ready to get out in my garden again! Last year, I experimented with starting only my cucumber seeds inside, and it went so well that this year I decided to commit to starting my entire garden from seed!
I got everything planted in the seed starter tray this weekend, so I’ll be sure to give you an update on how it turns out. 🙂
That’s it! What have you been Priming lately? I’d love to hear about it in the comments if you want to share!
PS. I’ve linked up 15 of my favorite Fun Finds for Spring below, too. If you’ve got spring fever like me, you might want to check it out.
