I’m linking up with Tanya again for our montly great Amazon Prime finds! Spring is in the air, and summer is on the way! We have just about one month of school left for the year, and I am sooooo ready for summer! Anyone else? ☀️🍉⛱
It was a very light month for Amazon shopping for me this month, compared to my usual habits, so I’ve also linked up some of my past favorite Amazon purchases that are perfect for summer. Scroll down to check them all out!
Oh, and to make sure you don’t miss any of our monthly Prime Purchases posts, you can subscribe by entering your email in the box on this page.

My Great Amazon Prime Finds for the Month
This insulated picnic backpack is so fun! I bought it to take on our National Parks Road Trip this summer. Our plan is to start out early each morning, exploring, hiking, looking for wildlife, then picnic some place beautiful before coming back to our cabin for a nap! 🤪 This backpack has everything we need, including a wine cork, wine glasses, and a cheeseboard! I can’t wait!
Oh, and if you’ve got any weddings or bridal showers coming up (those are starting to happen again, I hear!) this would make a wonderful gift for the happy couple!
Contigo Snapseal Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Handle
We got two new Contigo Travel Mugs, which are my favorites. I plan to do something fun with my Cricut on these mugs. Can’t wait to show you!
Contigo Autoseal nsulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug
Artificial Cabbage Home Kitchen Decoration
I bought two of these artificial spring cabbages to make flower arrangments on my porch in these early spring months when it’s still too cold to plant real greenery here in Iowa. Come back tomorrow to see them in my blog hop post about Spring to Summer decor.
Kauai Coffee from Hawaii’s Largest Coffee Grower
I now have our favorite Hawaiian coffee on “subscribe and save” from Amazon, so a new box just magically arrives each month! ☕️❤️
O’Keeffe’s Working Hands Hand Cream
We are all washing our hands a lot these days, in addition to using copious amounts of hand sanitizer. Health care workers like my husband, even more so, and his hands get extremely dry as result. A co-worker of his suggested this hand lotion, and so far it seems to be working really well. My hands are not super dry, but I have used it to rub into my nail cuticles and it works like magic.
GE RPWFE Refrigerator Water Filter
Why are these filters so expensive? Our GE fridge requires this very specific filter that costs way too much. Anyone have any ideas of where else to get them that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg? 🧐
That’s it for me this month! What have you been Priming? I’m especially interested in any ideas you have for things needed for road tripping and National Park exploring!

We use Working Man hands all the time! I love that stuff.
We get our fridge filters from Amazon, and order the “off brand” which makes them a little cheaper. Hope you have a wonderful week! Thanks for linking up with Hello Monday! Tanya – The Other Side of the Road
Niky, I love your home and your posts. I just had to let you know that my husband has had a filter on the water line that goes to the refrigerator. The filter is in the basement. He has done this for many years at our previous home and 20 years at this house (we started for the icemaker and before the refrigerators started putting filters inside). We have a 4 year old Kitchenaid fridge and it has been just fine without the manufacturer suggested one. I just checked and it is empty in the compartment for the filter. We found a good deal at Lowes years ago on some that were on clearance and haven’t had to buy one lately. He also doesn’t change them often. We had city water at old house and well with a softener here and I think our water is just fine . I drink water from fridge probably 90% of the time, tea or pop other 10%. I don’t buy bottled water. Hope this helps with your filter shopping.
Sue, thanks for your kind comments and especially for your water filter advice! $50 every two months is crazy to spend on a water filter. I will share your comment with my husband and see what we can figure out! Thanks so much!
Love the travel mugs. Been thinking about getting me a new contigo.
Love my Contigo mugs! I carry one to school everyday. I think putting some vinyl on these new ones to customize for our vacation will be fun!
