More Great Amazon Prime Finds– January 2022

Happy New Year, friends! Welcome to a whole new year of Prime Purchases!

Prime saved me this year, maybe more than ever.

Since we spent such a large chunk of our time from Thanksgiving right through Christmas at the hospital with sweet baby Evelynn, or traveling back and forth to support her mom and dad, there would have been no gifts without Amazon.

Plus, most of our basic necessities were ordered from our phones and sent right to the house, or any other location we needed them to go.

I love that about Amazon– I have a whole list of shipping addresses saved in my account, and just send things directly to where I need them to go.

Today, I’m linking up with Tanya again for our monthly great Amazon Prime finds! Scroll down to check them all out!

My Great Amazon Prime Finds for the Month

When the nurse in the NICU told me this is the brand of wipes and diaper cream that they recommend for babies, of course I knew Evelynn needed to have some for when she goes home.

I ordered on my phone from the hospital room, and it was waiting for me when I got home a couple of days later.

WaterWipes Original Baby Wipes, 99.9% Water, Unscented & Hypoallergenic for Sensitive Newborn

Triad, Sterile, Zinc-Oxide Based Diaper Cream

Dapple Baby, Bottle and Dish Soap Plant-Based

Another product that we discovered while in the hospital is this dish soap that removes residue and odor left behind by breast milk and formula from baby bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, and breast pump pieces. It works so much better than regular dish soap, and it’s made with baby-friendly, plant-based ingredients.

It’s hypoallergenic, pediatrician and dermatologist approved, and never tested on animals.

So of course, I bought little Evie a multi-pack from her Gigi.

Cleverfy Aromatherapy Shower Steamers -Pack of 6

My husband got me those shower steamers as a Christmas gift, and I love them! You just place one on the bottom of the shower, and as the water hits it, it releases a wonderful, therapeutic aroma.

Some are labeled for stress-relief, some for immunity boosting, some for relaxation… lot’s of different choices!

Mud Pie Glass Knob Sugar Bowl

My sweet husband also got me several of these Mud Pie brand white dishes with vintage-looking glass knobs! They are so cute and work perfectly with our kitchen decor.

Mud Pie Glass Knob Butter Dish

Mud Pie Glass Honey Jar

Our neighbor keeps bees, and has several hives at the back of his property. He has gifted us with several bottles of his honey over the past few months, so this cute little honey jar is the perfect way to display and use it. It looks so cute on a charcuterie tray!

Noverlife 12 Sheets Winter and New Year Nail Stickers

Since the pandemic began, I’ve quit going to salons to get my nails done. I can do them almost as well at home anyway, and it reduces my exposure, and saves time and money.

I wanted some cute designs for the holidays, so I gave these a try for the first time. For less than 5 bucks, they are a steal! Easy to use, and lots of choices to take you through the holidays, and the whole winter, too!

Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser

Someone recommended this cleaner to me for cleaning our granite sink. The granite is a light gray, and sometimes gets faint hard water stains. This stuff is amazing! Took it right out! Plus, I used it to clean some silver too, and it worked like magic!

Drone with Camera 720P HD Live Video

My husband has said a few times that he wished he could get an aerial pic of our property.

We have an aerial pictures of the farm my dad grew up on, because back in the day, it was pretty common for planes to drive overhead of farms, and then sell the pics to the farm owners.

I bought this drone for my husband as a Christmas present, so we can get some aerial shots of our own property. I can’t wait for it to warm up so we can try it!

AeroGarden Harvest – Indoor Garden with LED Grow Light

This was a Christmas gift for my son’s girlfriend. The two of them love to cook, so this will be a fun way for them to grown some herbs right on the apartment countertop.

Deluxe DIY Hot Sauce Making Kit

This was also a gift for my son and his girlfriend. They love spicy food and often make their own salsas. I thought this would be a fun activity for them to do together and end up with something useful for their cooking adventures, too.

Peet’s Coffee, Chalet Blend – Dark Roast Coffee

This is my favorite winter coffee and I keep it on my Amazon “Subscribe and Save” list, so it autoships once a month. Easy-peasy.

Peace: Hope and Healing for the Anxious Momma’s Heart

The stress of our sweet Evelynn Irene’s journey these past 6 weeks caused me to struggle hard with anxiety and worry. I bought this book as a way to help find some peace. If you are a mama who finds herself worrying maybe a little too much about her kids, this book may help you find some peace.

LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Baked Balance-N-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation

After Evelynn’s birth, I made myself a “go bag”, packed with most of my necessities in case we had to head back to the hospital (two-hours away) quickly.

I ordered a double of most of my daily-use items to keep in the suitcase. This Laura Geller foundation has been my favorite for several years now. Have you tried it? It’s the the BEST.

Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo & Conditioner

We’ve racked up over 14 hotel nights in the last month. Many of those nights were at the Marriott directly across the street from the hospital.

This Paul Mitchell shampoo is what they supplied our room with, and I really liked it. A quick search on Amazon, and I had my own full-sized bottles on the way to my house.

That’s it! What have you been Priming lately? I’d love to hear about it in the comments if you want to share!

I’d be so grateful if you’d support The House on Silverado by subscribing via email in the box on this page, and following on social media. 💕

  1. Niky, somehow I missed the announcement about the arrival of your sweet granddaughter…congratulations! I hope she is home safe and sound. What great finds you had this month for new mom’s. Thanks so much for linking up and happy new year!

  2. I love that Amazon can send essentials right to my house too; today I ordered cold meds and cough drops that seem to have vanished from all our local shelves and it should all be here by tomorrow! I keep a few saved addresses in my files too so I can quickly send gifts to families without having to do anything extra. Heading over to check out those nail stickers; they look so cute!

    1. Yes, I have come to rely on it for convenience and time savings. When my grown “kids” need something (according to mama), I just order it up and send it right along to their homes. Boom. 🙂
