I’m linking up with Tanya again for more montly great Amazon Prime finds! Scroll down to check them all out!
I bought this great automatic irrigation system for my herbs recently. I’m so pleased with how it’s working! It’s been hot here in Iowa lately, and my herbs are thriving without me having to worry about getting out there once (or even twice) per day to water them. You can read my post about how easy it was to set up HERE. This was 30 bucks well-spent.
I know it’s only August, but I’m thinking ahead to getting our bed ready for winter. I bought a new down comforter, and decided a new duvet cover would be a good idea, too. This one is so pretty, soft, and machine-washable.
We had an issue recently with our second fridge that we keep in the garage. I bought this 2-pack of fridge thermometers and placed one in the freezer and one in the fridge to see what the problem was. These little things are great because they keep track of the high/low temp over time. As it turns out, our fridge is fluctuating between 37 and 47 degrees. Needless to say, we’re not keeping anything in there besides beer and water right now.
It was time for an update to my old vanity mirror and this is the replacement I ordered. Three different lighting modes, and can be operated with electric or batteries.
We have the most beautiful school house lights above our kitchen island. When we were building our home, they were one of the first selections I made, because I fell in love with them at first sight. (You can see them in THIS post.) They have a clear glass globe, and these vintage style bulbs looks so pretty in them. These bulbs don’t shine so brightly that you can’t see the filament, which I love. Plus, they are much, much cheaper than buying them at the store.
We’ve been working on a lot of projects around here this summer, and these safety glasses that are also progressive readers are perfect for being able to actually see what you’re doing, and protect your eyes as the same time.
More Vital proteins for my smoothies. Ordering this on repeat this summer.
This little solar fountain for the small bird bath my mother-in-law gave us is actually a purchase from last month, but I wanted to show you an actual pic of it in use. For less than $15, it just floats on top of the water and keeps it circulating. It’s so fun to sit on the porch swing and watch the sweet little finches land for a drink. They seem to love it!
I know, these aren’t Prime Purchases, but I worked so hard on our guest room makeover this month that I just have to share my fun finds for making it pretty. Click on the icons over each item to see the info about the bedding and accessories.
And last but not least, I ordered this little stoneware planter from Target’s Hearth & Hand with Magnolia line. The plant is from my dad’s funeral, and has been sitting on the windowsill above my kitchen sink since last year. It outgrew the original pot, so when I saw this one, I knew it was the perfect replacement, with the little ‘I love you” engraving.
Wishing you all things good,
