It kind of reminds me of one of my favorite poolside drinks on a hot summer day, only this version has a few more health benefits.

Strawberry Mango Smoothie Recipe
This easy recipe uses simple ingredients to create the perfect smoothie.
The bottom layer contains frozen chunks of sweet mango, macadamia nuts, and unsweetened almond milk.
The top layer is a strawberry banana smoothie made from frozen strawberries, banana, and a little more chilled almond milk.
The result is a delicious smoothie with all-natural fruity flavors that is designed to help reduce afternoon sluggishness. Count me IN.
Typically, I head for another cup of coffee when I start to slow down in the latter part of the day, but a smoothie filled with fresh ingredients and some energizing NAKED Reds is the best way to give myself a boost without caffeine.
To make this delicious banana mango strawberry smoothie you will need:
- Frozen fruit (strawberries, banana, mango)
- 1/4 cup of macadamia nuts (these contain heart-healthy fats that can help reduce your risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes!)
- Milk– I prefer plant-based milk, but any kind of milk will work
- Nutritional Supplements of your choice are optional, but for my fruity smoothies, I like to mix and match NAKED Reds, NAKED Collagen, and NAKED Gut.
Start by adding about 1/2 cup of frozen mango to your blender.
I used my NutriBullet for this smoothie because it was convenient to use a separate blending cup for each of the two different layers, but any high-speed blender will work.
Along with the mango chunks, add the macadamia nuts and about 1/2 cup of your favorite non-dairy milk.
Blend on high speed until it becomes a creamy texture, and then set it aside while you mix up the next layer. (I popped mine in the freezer, so it would stay nice and thick until I was ready for it.)
Strawberry Banana Layer
Rinse the blender container or use another blender cup for the NutriBullet.
Add 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup of milk, and half of a frozen banana.
Nutritional supplements are completely optional in this recipe, but I added 1 heaping scoop of NAKED Reds to the strawberry layer of my smoothie.
I like it because it is a premium superfood blend of eleven berries and fruits to improve blood flow, immunity, and provide daily antioxidant support.
It’s designed to help combat that afternoon slump, which is exactly what I need!
Plus, it only has 3g of natural sugar and 35 calories, and no artificial additives. If I’m going to add anything to my healthy fruit smoothies, I want it to be something with this kind of high quality.
Layer it Up!
Carefully spoon the strawberry layer on top of the mango layer.
I like to use these double-walled insulated tumblers for my smoothies because they help keep them cold for longer, but especially for this smoothie so you can see those pretty layers!
Garnish with fresh fruit (optional), add a straw, and you’re ready to enjoy your healthy drink.
Customize Your Smoothie
Smoothies are so easy to adapt to suit your own individual tastes and nutritional needs:
- Use any of your favorite fruits instead of the ones I’ve used here. Almost all types of fruits work in smoothies!
- Substitute fresh orange juice, pineapple juice, or even coconut water for the milk in the mango layer to add even more tropical flavors
- Sub a 1/2 cup of greek yogurt for 1/2 cup of the milk to add extra creaminess and extra protein
- For a true high-protein smoothie, add your favorite protein powder
- Mix-ins like flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp hearts, and nut butter are a great way to add even more nutritional value to this easy smoothie

Energizing Strawberry Mango Smoothie
- ½ cup frozen mango chunks
- ¼ cup macademia nuts dry roasted
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any milk of choice, divided
- ½ frozen banana
- protein powder or nutritional supplements of choice optional
- Add frozen mango chunks, macadamia nuts, and ½ cup milk to the blender cup.Add protein powder or other supplements of your choice (optional).Blend on high speed until smooth. (Note: Milk amount can be adjusted depending on how thick you prefer your smoothie. Use a little bit more milk for a thicker smoothie, and less for a thinner smoothie.)
- Carefully spoon the mango mixture into a glass, filling it about halfway.
- Using a new blender cup, or rinse blender container before beginning the strawberry banana layer.
- To the blender cup, add ½ cup of frozen strawberries, half of a frozen banana, and ½ cup of milk. Again, the consistency can be customized to your preference by adjusting the milk amounts.Add Naked Red or other supplements of your choice (optional).
- Blend on high speed until smooth.
- Carefully spoon the strawberry layer on top of the mango layer.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries or fresh mango slices if desired.
